Jesus The Christ Is Lord

Scripture: As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. (Acts 13:2-3)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, This scripture shows that your children can minister to you. Teach me the proper way to fast and pray so I know Holy Spirit’s direction and obey it.  Help me to fast for 1/2 a day, then work up to a full day with total prayer and praise during this fast time.  In Jesus’ precious name I pray.
