Inspiration: We can compare this scripture to the legal system.  When criminals commit crimes they have to reap the consequences.   However Christians often don’t see this in a positive light.  One Bible teacher explained it in terms of seeds.  Sow a corn seed and you will reap corn.  Sow encouragement and you will reap encouragement.  Sow love and you will reap love.  Sow into God’s kingdom for eternal rewards so that all will hear about the love and forgiveness of Jesus to rescue them from hell!

Inspiration: A Bible teacher said that a teachable spirit is one of the greatest attributes to have.  This is a blessing, not only in marriage but especially in your walk with God.  God wants us to learn our lessons the first time around and not to have them repeated.  When I heard this teaching, I felt challenged to have God show me my blind spots (problem areas I was blind to in my life).  Now I see when I have been critical of others in a certain area, often that is how to see my blind spots since I then ask, Lord do I do the same things they are doing, ….. and the answer is often … YES!

Inspiration: A farmer learned the power of his words in Jesus’ name.  He had a large useless tree in his field taking up much crop space.  One day he cursed this useless tree (just like Jesus cursed the fig tree in Mark 11:21).  Six weeks later this tree was stone dead and the farmer knew it was due to his prayer.   Decades later, this same farmer had a cancer spot on his liver.  He remembered the useless tree on his farm that died after he cured it so he cursed the cancer on his liver at the root and prayed for the disease to be cast out of his body.  He believed the word spoken would come to pass and it did.  The doctors confirmed there was no liver cancer!  There was great rejoicing when he learned that we have authority over our own land and own bodies in Jesus’ mighty name!

Inspiration: A sound heart has to be protected as I know that what you watch and what you think about needs to be purged by Holy Spirit on a daily basis.  With the junk on the TV, the lust and perversion on the internet, lewd magazines, and mobile phone crazes, we daily have to have a heart cleansing to make sure the lusts of the world or any envy does not enter our hearts.  We have to simply say, when an ungodly thought come our way, that is not my thought!  I choose not to dwell on it and I choose to worship Jesus and sing to Him and get my mind on the promises of God!  Thank you Jesus for your help each hour of every day!

Inspiration: A man learned that his niece, who was less than one year old at the time, had only a 50 per cent chance of living due to a defective valve in her heart.  As he read the Bible, this scripture seemed to jump out of the page and he knew God wanted to heal his niece.  He bought a Bible and went to share this scripture with his brother and sister-in-law and pray for the baby.   The young child was healed as God worked through the hands of the doctors.

Inspiration:   A young man that had a leg a half inch shorter than the other and wore a half inch heel pad in his shoe came for prayer.  God healed him in front of our eyes and he threw his heel pad in the garbage.  I saw him a year later and he said he never had to go back to the chiropractor again since he was healed.  Another example of this scripture was a man came to our Bible study with a cane and was in so much back pain that the doctor had given him a morphine drip to deal with the excruciating back pain!  We prayed for him and we saw no change when he left however he stood on this scripture rebuked the pain and when I saw him close to a year later he was total healed!  Even the doctors were amazing how he came off the morphine drip  This man was walking around fast now with no cane and no pain thanks to Jesus!

Inspiration: Many people have been fooled by “get-rich quick” schemes. A phony life insurance man came to my door and somehow made it into my apartment and onto my couch.  He said “Pay me 99 cents a day and if you get killed, I will pay one lump sum of $500 to your family.”  Doing the math in my head, I saw at once that this was a scam and asked the man to leave  From this I see that any quick rich schemes that have been presented to me over the years have not been ones Holy Spirit want me to get involved with!  God leads by peace and confirmations if people are listening to Jesus and the promptings of Holy Spirit that shows up what scripture from the Bible applies in a situation!

Inspiration: One Bible teacher shared the importance of speaking words of truth.  He said that his own vocabulary had to change since God convicted him in so many areas.  I was convicted myself when I heard this teaching as even the fibs, exaggerations, jokes and flatteries needed to be altered in my life.  I also spoke negatively by mistake using the terms ‘Scared to Death’, ‘Killing myself laughing’, ‘Chocolate to Die for’ (desserts in restaurants) so I asked Holy Spirit’s help to remove those demonic expressions from my mouth!  Proverbs says life and death are in the tongue so I need to speak  words of life not death when I see how powerful words work in the spiritual realm!

Inspiration: When a few of us were talking about the spiritual pruning process,  a friend in our group said he asked God to mold him like clay on a potter’s wheel to shape him into a vessel for the master’s use.  However he went on to say that when God started shaping him, it wasn’t easy as he had to crucify his lusts and bad habits.  As in Adult water baptism, we go under the water to die to the ways of the world and are raised up out of the water to live a new life for Jesus only not for our selfish lusts!  Even with Adult water baptism we have to die to our own pride and reputation and live as an ambassador for Christ!

Inspiration: One Bible teacher explained that walking by faith involves spending time everyday in the Holy scriptures letting Holy Spirit speak to you through the pages of the Bible.  It also involves mediating on scriptures over and over until you see yourself walking out the victory promise in the Bible.  Faith begins where the will of God is known so walking by faith is knowing God’s will.  God’s Will is His Word and His Word is His Will.  Most people want to see the answers to their prayers before they will believe in them.  That requires no faith at all.  The teacher explained that you have to believe in the answer before you see it, as that is what walking by faith is all about.

Inspiration: One year I joined a group of Bible College students to feed the poor on Christmas Day.  It was the first time I had ever been away from my family at Christmas.  My eyes were opened to feel the pain of those who do not have a family.  All of us were blessed tremendously to see the faces of the poor light up as we served them food and ate dinner with them.  Help us to take time for the poor and teach them the gospel that Jesus want to give them a job so they can help out others!

Inspiration: A businessman was tested for awhile to see if he would trust in his riches or use his riches for advancing God’s Kingdom.  During prayer, this businessman felt God speak to him to buy a motel and invite evangelists to use it free of charge if they would pass out Christian tracts to the surrounding area so that all people in the vicinity would hear about Jesus.  Several years later, when he felt God prompt him that the the evangelistic work was done, he was approached by a land developer, who offered this businessman 20 times as much as he originally paid for the motel and property.   This man has been able to give millions of dollars to God’s work.

Inspiration: In the 1980’s I heard a man prophesy about hand held computers and that God was saying His children were not listening to Him for inventions. It never occurred to me that good inventions were from God and, at that time, I didn’t know what a hand held computer was, since personal computers the size of desk tops were just coming out. Decades later, hand held computers are now called smartphones and tablets and are getting more powerful all the time. I now realize that God wants to give inventions to people that will use the invention and the income from it to advance His Kingdom.

Inspiration: Two men were sailing on the lake and one of the men unknowingly lost his car keys in the water.  When they got to shore they were not able to drive home since they lost their keys and they then knew the keys were at the bottom of the lake somewhere.  They decided to pray and ask the Lord to lead them to the keys.  They set sail again following God’s direction where to turn. At a certain location, they felt led to look down for the keys.  One of them dove down and found the keys way down underneath the water on a big rock!

Inspiration: I have been on missions in different countries, and found in some parts of the world, people expect and receive miracles from Jesus readily because they have no unbelief in their hearts as they trust in Jesus first before any other way. On the other hand, in some of the rich and well educated countries, many people have a hard time believing in miracles, and even believing all the Bible is true. I just read an account of a lady that had cancer on her face and when she had hands laid on her for prayer she believed she received at the time they prayed for her.  She kept believing and twenty days later, the cancer fell off her face.  The doctors were amazed.

Inspiration: A friend, who was the president of a corporation, attended church all his life.  One day, one of his employees called him a hypocrite, saying he acted in an unchristian manner. My friend was shaken up by this accusation and started searching in the Holy Bible and discovered that he had never let Jesus take control of his life.   Through his study he learned to die to his own ways and accept Jesus’ plan for his life as he asked Jesus into his heart for the first time.  As his old life died, his new life with Jesus sprung up with new joy and purpose.  My friend is now a leader for Christ in his community sharing his testimony everywhere and helping to set people’s faith on fire.

Inspiration: A missionary in the Philippines became very sick.  In America, a lady was awakened by the Lord in the middle of the night asking her to pray in the spirit for this missionary although she had no knowledge of why she was praying for him.  He was healed of his disease and when he came back to America to share in his America church how he was healed,  the lady that had prayed for him asked him the exact time and date of his pain.  As he shared with her, she told him that was the exact time the Lord had asked her to pray for him.

Inspiration: One of the natives shared an amazing miracle while we were on a missionary trip right after a terrible hurricane.  This native had faith that the hurricane winds would not destroy his tin-roofed house.  This hurricane was one of the worst in Central America and while other houses were being blown over in the storm, people came to his house which stayed strong and was not damaged throughout the entire hurricane.

Inspiration: A boy was taught that God is a god of love and never would hate anything.  But as this boy matured in his personal relationship with Jesus Christ his savior, he found out that there is good and evil in the world and God hates evil works. This boy discovered that it was not wrong for people to hate evil works, since hating evil deeds helps build a life of holiness.  Love all people but hate sin and all appearances of evil was his summary!

Inspiration: A Christian kept sharing Jesus with his father year after year but the father did not listen. The father was a proud man and never accepted Jesus for 90 years. On his death bed, the father called for his son to pray with him to receive Jesus into his heart. The father was gloriously saved just before he died.

Inspiration: A businessman prayed this scripture to understand the calling of God on his life.  God kept confirming His direction to this individual over and over so that he had perfect peace in what God’s plan of his life should be.  Later on, God called him to different mission trips and different countries.  He sought God in long prayer sessions to get the needed direction for his life.  This man has learned that these long prayer sessions are needed to quiet down the busyness of one’s mind and to let Jesus speak to him.  He wants to be a sheep that hears the Great Shepherd’s voice and obey Jesus’ instructions since God wants to speak to all people.

Inspiration: From research, I have discovered the spirit of fear tries to talk most people either out of committing their lives to Jesus or to stop believing in the promises of God.  However when people are taught to have faith and disregard the devil’s lies, they can continue to move into deeper fellowship with the Lord Jesus to hear God’s will and know God’s scriptures will come to pass.

Inspiration: A lady I met in Bible College had been healed by Jesus from lupus (a terminal disease).   Before her healing, she and her husband had spent all their money on medical bills yet she steadily grew worse.  Then they stood on this scripture and other healing scriptures and she was healed.  She had to renew her mind to what the Bible says since she was living in fear and anxiety for 25 years.  As she kept on worshipping and praying the healing scriptures in the Bible, taking authority in Jesus’ name over lupus, her lupus disappeared.

Inspiration: A close friend was all alone at his house when he felt sluggish. His son just happened to come home and called an ambulance. My friend told the medics: “it is not my time to go.” When the hospital emergency surgeons scoped the situation they found his aorta was split over 6 inches. They started the heart operation and later told the family, if he survives there will be brain damage. The son called me and we prayed Psalm 118:17 speaking life and not death over him. Jesus did the miracle! Jesus has totally healed him, with no brain damage as his memory is perfect. The doctors say he is a walking miracle! Glory to God!

Inspiration: A worship leader was playing the piano, and at the end of the service, a church leader came over to him, laid his hand on his head and said "Play the music of Heaven brother."  The worship leader closed his eyes and tried to let Holy Spirit take over the music.  The congregation did not want to go home but stayed another hour listening to this heavenly music which eventually became prophetic as Jesus used this music and words to prophesy to the people.

Inspiration: I was at a wedding when the groom was close to 50 years old and his bride was close to 40 even though neither of them had been married before.  The bride had bought a wedding dress years before, in faith that God would send her a husband.  During those years of waiting, her patience was tested, but she took joy and placed her faith in God’s Word.  God truly gave them the desires of their hearts as they trusted in Gods timing.

Inspiration: A computer programmer had fear and anxiety attacks at night disturbing his sleep.  When he spoke this scripture out loud, he felt at peace as God’s angels would look after him while he slept.  He also asks Holy Spirit to put him to sleep when his mind is very active after he surrenders all to Jesus.

Inspiration: A teacher quoting from the Bible said "My sheep hear My voice" meaning Christians are to be led by Jesus the Great Shepherd.  I am so thankful today that so many Christians are spending enough time in prayer to hear God’s directions.  People are responding by going on missions to preach the Gospel, while others at home are listening to God as to how to share Jesus in their own city.  Business people are hearing from God how to solve crisis business problems all for God’s Glory!

Inspiration: A college boy’s mind snapped while he was streaking nude across the campus.  A church leader was led by the Lord to pray all night for him since the boy had gone into a catatonic state.  This minister bound the evil forces off him in Jesus’ name and the boy’s mind returned back to normal after 8 hours of prayer.  This minister then instructed the boy’s father to get him involved in a really on-fire church that knows about the power of the Holy Spirit so the evil would not come back on him.  People like this or others getting free from addictions have to lean daily on the grace of God and power of the Holy Spirit to help them stay clean.

Inspiration: One large and fast growing church, sends school buses out to pick up children to take them to church since their parents do not go to church.  This is a great service in teaching the younger generation about the Lord.  Another ministry encourages Christians to pass out Bible tracts to retirement areas and pray with people to help bring the elderly to Jesus before they die.  This also is a great service in teaching the older generation that it is never too late to accept Jesus into your heart.  Retired people have tremendous resources and time they can use for Jesus.

Inspiration: Many Christians love the Lord and try to obey this first commandment.  However the second commandment needs improvement so that all Christians will have a spiritual concern for others and not be afraid to share Jesus with them.

Inspiration: A multi-millionaire runs a program with his staff that feeds the poor multiple times per week.  This man has received donations as large as $10,000 for his ministry.  This Luke 6:38 scripture works as long as there is no greed and people do things in 100% obedience to God’s plans.
