Inspiration: On a mission trip, one of the local church leaders spoke of the tribulation they went through in a civil war.  This church leader had a vision of all his village being killed.  He told everyone to pray.  The enemy came three times to attack the village but Jesus protected them each time.  The church leader said on one of the attacks, God confused the enemy so that, although they did land right on their shores, the enemy said to each other, "This is not the correct place.."  and left.  We need to be listening more to visions and dreams from God!

Inspiration: A software developer I worked with was a great example of God’s light in the business world.  She was born in China and came to school in America.  Christians on the school campus shared Jesus with her and she committed her life to Jesus.  After graduating and coming to work at our firm, she was willing to share how she was raised as a Confucian, and later became a Christian.  She was gentle and kind in her words, always thinking of others and remembering their birthdays.  She always bowed her head for grace at lunch in front of all the cafeteria people!  She was an inspiration to help some of the Christians who were ashamed to pray at lunch now start to bow their head and say a quiet grace to Jesus before eating!

Jesus The Christ Is LordInspiration: When I first got saved,  I was convicted by God that I said many things that were displeasing to Him.  Not only did I participate in dirty jokes but I used to be very sarcastic.   I also was very judgmental and critical of others.  God showed me that I needed to ask His Holy Spirit to help make me more holy as I couldn’t fix these problem areas in my life by myself.  Now todays years later I still need Holy Spirit’s help every hour of every day.

One widow from our church started out in a woman’s shelter after her husband died as the hospital bills for her husband claimed her house. She was faithful in all God asked her to do and was able to get into house with her 3 children. She shared that God is faithful even though she had to trust him every day of her life.

Inspiration: A Christian owned a taxi business that wasn’t making money.  He wanted to sell it but the Lord wanted him to keep the business to make a Christian impact on the city and helping people get free from addictions.  He was financially tested for a long time, and learned to trust the Lord with this business.  He endured this financial struggle and God has blessed him richly today.

Inspiration: Whenever discouragement tries to overcome me, I think about this scripture and ask for God’s full joy.  I have had days when sadness tries to creep in but I rebuke the sadness in Jesus’ name and let God’s joy rest on me.  I love to see people smile and laugh.  Let me learn to show ad share God’s joy more to others.

Inspiration: Stock market crashes and terrorist attacks can have a major impact on the wealth of the rich.  This scripture clearly teaches people not to trust in riches but in God.  One Bible teacher talks about investments.  Instead of talking to people about a 10% gain in stock or a 20% gain in property, he asks them to consider investing in the Kingdom of God which has eternal pay backs.  The rich need to remember that strong minds and strong families are gifts from God.  A rich person becomes a tremendous blessing to God when they use their resources to bring the gospel and a Bible to every person in the world to learn of Christ.  Think of the impact you can make on a poor person!

Inspiration: A secretary on a tight budget writes out her tithe to the Lord as soon as the money comes in.  This secretary is a single mother and teaches her children to tithe, so that if someone gives one of the children a $10 bill, they put $1 aside to give to the work of the Lord.  Some people tithe on what they have left over but the wise tithe on their total income before any expenses since they don’t want to rob God of the opportunity to do miracles in their life!

Inspiration: An advertisement designer married a teacher and they have an excellent marriage because they remind each other that they are sinners saved by Jesus.  This stops a judgmental attitude towards each other, so that they help each other in their weak areas instead of criticizing.  This also saves marriages from self destructing!

Inspiration: One Christian said you must do an outstanding job for your employer for they pay you to do your job not to evangelize.  If you evangelize on company time then you are stealing from your employer.  However as you let your light shine, there will be opportunities to share Jesus after work or at lunch time.  People look at your smile and example of peace in all situations as you let Jesus calm all storms in your life.

Inspiration: An atheist saw a model of the sun and the planets on the professor’s desk and said to the professor:  "That is an amazing replica of our solar system.  Who made it?"  The professor said  "No one."  The atheist said "Come on, that model is so good, I want to know who made it?"  The professor said "You believe that someone made this tiny model but you cannot believe God made our solar system in which we live."  This example can help all of us remember that God is the creator of all life.  Some people get into confusion about how old the earth is but the bottom line is, that does not matter.  God made it.  You understand Jesus by faith not by some scientist saying this rock is 5 billion years old as God can create anything with age the instant it is created such as Adam and Eve who were instantly adults with age (there were not created as babies at age 0).

Inspiration: One sales woman said she was not going to get close to God until she was ready to die.  She didn’t realize the true abundant life in Jesus was waiting for her now.  She would have the ability to do so much more for Jesus during her lifetime and this scripture says she would be rewarded in heaven for her work on earth.  The life of sin only leads to torment so let us get going on God’s call on our lives!

Inspiration: The Bible shares God’s will in many places but some areas are revealed by prayer.  For example, one man was considering going to Bible College. Some students from a Bible College came to visit this man’s church and participated in the service.  After the service, one of the students put a Bible school application form in this man’s hand and said pray about it.  This was the confirmation he needed to go to a specific Bible College.

Inspiration: At the time of writing this calendar, I bowed down and knelt before the Lord, asking God to give me words to help set people’s faith on fire, for them to get a vision of the purpose for their lives, and by prayer would become ambassadors for Christ.  Worship is the source of my strength for it helps stir up my passion for Jesus, and for the love of God to spill out of me onto others, and the lost.  It helps me to take on God’s priorities not my own and remember why Jesus came to this earth!

Inspiration: At Bible College we learned not to judge the teachers by their preaching style (loud or soft) or by their clothes (dreary or fancy) or by their mannerisms (flamboyant or non-emotional) but to judge the words that they say.  So often people are prejudiced against others to the point that they switch them off before they hear what they have to say.  Most Christians feel their church is the best since it is what they are accustomed to.

Inspiration: An engineer and his wife who are also evangelists, shared that as they pray, Holy Spirit gives them names and facts about people they have never met.  One time while they were at a gas station, God told them some facts about another customer that was filling his tank at that gas station.  They walked up to the man and said:  "Are you so and so?"  "Yes" answered the man obviously puzzled.  They went on to tell him some facts about his life.  The man saw that God must be talking to him through this couple so he responded to God and asked Jesus into his life as the couple prayed with him to dedicate his life to God.

Inspiration: People today are ignorant of God’s Word because they do not read the Bible.  One of the ten commandments "Do not commit adultery" is broken not only by non Christians, but even by some Christians who say sex before marriage is permissible since they are ignorant of God’s laws.  However doing things God’s ways brings you peace and Jesus is willing to set you free from all guilt and condemnation if you repent and come to Him asking to follow Him!

Inspiration: A youth group gave our leader an offering of $500 cash in a sealed envelope but never told him how much it was.  When building a church in Mexico, our leader was short of some materials so he went to the big city to buy them.  The seller said the materials would cost about $500.  Our leader had forgotten his wallet but did have the youth offering.  He took out the sealed envelope and said: "This should cover it!" not knowing how much was inside.  The vendor counted the money and it just covered the cost with some small change left over.  He taught us not to waiver in faith or it could cost you.  His common expression was "If you doubt, you will do without!"

Inspiration: "Will there ever be world peace?"  was a question that came up at our dinner table and a guest answered:  "How can one have peace if one doesn’t have Jesus, the Prince of Peace in one’s heart."  My guest had a good point.  Not only is world evangelism needed, but personal peace in one’s own heart needs to be emphasized.  We all need to pray for each country’s ambassadors that they will become Christians and promote peace among the nations.

Inspiration: One church leader constantly gives God glory during his services.  In one service, I watched a seven year old mentally challenged boy get healed and start talking normally.  His parents said their son had never spoken a word in his life.  Then this church leader gave the microphone to this boy and asked him to sing the song "Jesus loves me."  The boy sang the song perfectly.  I was in tears of joy and felt God’s power in a tremendous way while the boy sang.  God got all the glory as skeptics could not say this was fake.

Inspiration: I was falsely accused a few years ago by a man and it hurt me because it was a blow to my integrity.  Immediately after it happened,  I heard God’s voice in my heart say:  "Pray for those who persecute you."  At first it was hard to do, but I was obedient to the Word of God and prayed for that man.  I now have compassion for him as I have seen some of the struggles he has gone through.   The secret about forgiveness is to forgive and forget.  Many people forgive but they do not forget the hurt and let those thoughts get them upset at a later date.  How thankful we are for Jesus forgiving and forgetting our sins.

Inspiration: Many people argue that there is no such thing as hell.  These people have not studied the Bible or else they would not take that position.  A Bible teacher shared that hell was created for the devil which is explained in Matthew 25:41.  God does not force a person to go to hell.  Jesus wants everyone to be with Him in heaven.  God is good and everything bad is from the devil.  The devil gets people to rebel against God.  It is the rejection of Jesus that causes separation from God, so it is the responsibility of each individual person to choose their eternal destiny to be with Jesus in heaven or be in torments with the devil in hell.

Inspiration: When I first read this scripture my thought was that sheep were smart enough to follow the shepherd’s voice, but Christians, including myself, don’t even know what the Great Shepherd’s voice sounds like.  This gave me new insight into prayer and to be still before God after praying for hours, where I have a pen and paper always ready in case God wants to share something.  God’s Word, the Bible, is the foundation for every Christian and He will never tell us anything that contradicts His Holy Bible.

Inspiration: Some churches have become so blind that they say the Bible is just a history book.  They preach from other historians rather than the Word of God and wonder why their congregations are dwindling since they grieve Holy Spirit.  The blessed and growing churches are the ones who preach the Bible as God’s Word and give altar calls each service for people to commit their lives to Jesus and let Holy Spirit do miracles in the midst of the people.  These churches have outreaches and help new see the power of God and get on fire for God with the calling on their lives!

Inspiration: Christians who have not seen Jesus are blessed because they have received Jesus by faith and not by sight.  One Bible teacher explained that this is the reason why Jesus did not stay on earth and show himself to everyone after His resurrection.  Jesus could easily extend Himself to be a giant, taller than the mountains, put a sword in people’s faces and say:  "Now, do you believe?"  Everyone would say ‘yes’ in that situation, not out of love, but out of fear for their lives and later rebel since their commitment is not out of love!

Inspiration: I have made the mistake of criticizing people, and in doing so, verified that this scripture is true, since my criticism came back to slap me in the face.  If you criticize, your words will come right back to you in the same area in your life.  I learned that this can help me see my blind spots.  As soon as I am about to criticize someone, I quickly stop myself and say: "Do I do that also?"  The answer is often yes, and now my blind spot has been revealed.

Inspiration: I need joy all the time.  I need to smile with knowing Jesus has saved me.  There have been times in my life when I felt like the children of Israel going through the desert.  After prayer, joy would come and revive me.  This joy of the Lord would encourage me to be like Joshua and Caleb.  They were leaders who crossed the Red Sea on dry ground that made it into the promised land.  Real lasting joy comes from a deep relationship with Jesus Christ being thrilled with the plan God has for our lives.  Joy and laughter destroys fear, stress and anxiety.  Joy and laughter from God is what the world is looking for but more Christians need to ask the fullness of God’s joy.

Inspiration: Some people have criticized the church for not showing love and not having any more morals than they do.  These people see one Christian denomination criticizing another denomination instead of loving them.  They say the church is a bunch of hypocrites.  Unfortunate there is no perfect church since Jesus Christ is the only one without sin.  I too was a hypocrite as one time since I was not 100% committed to Jesus still being a people pleaser and a partier.  I pray that these critical people will see that the hypocrites are often those that are not 100% committed to Jesus.  All should look to Jesus and not people as examples.  I pray that all will fully commit their lives to Christ and that all the Christian denominations will work together as a team under one captain, Jesus Christ.

Inspiration: There used to be a time in my life when I was ashamed of the Gospel of Christ as I was more concerned with my career and was afraid that people would label me as a religious fanatic.  Fear of poverty and fear that God would not provide for me was in the back of my mind which showed I really did not trust God.  When I asked for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, Jesus gave me boldness to share with my colleagues.  I often went to lunch with one colleague at a time as they would be scared to open up if any of their peers were listening.  God blessed my work at this firm making me valuable to the company.

Inspiration: One evangelist in Africa says intercession is the detonator to revival.  Intercession involves praying in the spirit and praying this scripture so that the blinders would be removed from the non-Christian’s minds.  This scripture says the god of this world (satan) is against the work of God.  So powerful intercession involves binding (Mathew 18:18) all evil works and strongholds of the devil off the area and off the minds of the people so they would see the truth and recognize spiritual warfare that the devil is out to ruin lives with sin.  God’s plan is to give His forgiveness, love, peace, and eternal life to all mankind through His Son Jesus Christ.

Inspiration: A young boy grew up on a wheat farm.  His father got sick one year and was not able to harvest his wheat.  The boy was very disappointed thinking the whole crop would go to waste.  There would be big loss of income to the family. However one day he heard the sound of engines, and was overjoyed to see the others farmer’s combines were harvesting their wheat to help them out.  The neighboring farmers had come to the rescue!

Inspiration: A man in his 50s spoke to our men’s retreat.  He shared his testimony that he had struggled with sexual sin for over 20 years.  His audience could not believe that this man would humble himself as most people keep this kind of sin in the closet.  God’s power broke him free of this habit when he went forward for prayer at a service.   Now he is sharing his testimony all around the world helping others get free of the sex addictions by the power of the name of Jesus!

Inspiration: I have attended services in many denominations and in many countries.  Some Christians prefer to close their eyes during worship to block out distractions while others were like spectators, more interested in looking to see who was there and what they were wearing.  I found the growing churches have a worship mix of hymns (for the older generation) and modern worship songs (for the younger generation) and these churches have taught people to worship God in spirit and in truth.  Leaders in these growing churches help people to not be so selfish, wanting the music their way, but help people to push through ruts and traditions and into God’s heart, worshiping Him and loving Him as the number 1 commandment says in Mark 12:30-31!

Inspiration: A missionary doctor was in the jungle with his group and went for 3 days without food.  They were constantly praying for a miracle when little cyclones appeared in the lake and fish were caught up in those mini cyclones and dumped on shore.  The Christians praised God for this amazing miracle as Jesus provided food for them.  The doctor said he was so hungry, he ate the first fish raw!

Inspiration: When I read this scripture I was convicted by God of some of the words that I spoke.  Years ago, I heard a funny joke from someone and used to repeat it often.  Then someone said my joke was racist.  I was blind to see any prejudice in this joke.  I had to ask forgiveness for saying words that could offend people of different races.  I also noticed I exaggerated a lot and I needed Holy Spirit every day to help me clean up the words I speak!

Inspiration: At Bible College we were taught to use this scripture before going out on an evangelical mission.  We would pray in the Holy Spirit for a long time before we started the outreach.  During prayer we would ask for God’s power to descend on us for boldness and for miracles.  During our prayer time, our team would sometimes get a vision of a door number or a place that we were suppose to go and visit.  We would obey the Holy Spirit’s directions and bring the Word of God to that area.    After we returned from these outreaches, we discovered that the more time we spent in prayer listening to the Lord, the more miracles we would see.  May all glory go to God forever more!

Inspiration: Christians need to rejoice and laugh more as they are the light of the world, yet many do not show it.  I was convicted of this myself as I do not laugh and rejoice enough over the good things God has given me.  I also need to smile more, as Christians who smile all the time, are great witnesses for the Lord.

Inspiration: One of my favorite songs has these words (from the scripture) in it.  It makes me think of the whole world singing a love song to Jesus in such perfect unison that God’s heart is greatly touched to see all peoples on the earth worshipping Him at the same time.  Let the world be filled with God’s love in their hearts!

Inspiration: I like to visualize Jesus joining us when two or three are gathered together in His name, as it makes the meeting so much more intimate and powerful.  One time after I had lifted up my eyes from prayer, the whole room was filled with a supernatural light.  We knew God’s presence was in the room.  Others have seen this light also during their prayer time!

Inspiration: Many adults do not have respect for authority and many children have been brought up to hate the police and government and pay no attention to the elderly.  My mother said when she grew up, the policeman was everybody’s friend.  He would direct traffic and all the children would say "Hi" to him while crossing the street.  I praise God for the families I see that show respect to all people;  they shine out as a beacon for others.  It is wonderful also to see people pray for country leaders that God will give them dreams and visions to do things God’s way!

Inspiration: A man was taken to the hospital after being killed in a car crash.  The doctor wrote out his death certificate.  His wife believed God for the impossible.  She had her dead husband put in a car and drove over to a Christian meeting which was over one day’s drive away.  At this meeting, the Christians prayed for her husband and his heart start to get warm.  As they kept praying, he rose from the dead before them all.  There is a video made of this.    Another miracle, concerning leprosy, was a man who had lost all his fingers along with his nose and ear lobes.  After prayer, Jesus healed him by growing him new fingers, a nose and ear lobes!

Inspiration: So many non-Christians I meet divert the issue of asking Jesus into their hearts by saying, "What about the other religions in the World?" This scripture says each of us must give our own  account to God on whether we have accepted Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and Savior over every area of our lives, or whether we have ignored Him.  No other religions in the world has their King say on the cross, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do"  No other religions in the world has Jesus express His incredible love for you and desire to heal you, and deliver you from the powers of Satan!

Inspiration: Keeping God’s Word is not only obeying the Bible but doing what God puts in your heart.  A Christian (who has built a University) takes around a pad and pencil everywhere he goes just to be ready to write down what God says to him.  By writing it down he does not forget anything, and is able to refer to his notes to do what God says as looks at the dates to see how Jesus gives confirmations!

Inspiration: Over the years, one learns to take up the cross daily to crucify the desires and lusts of selfishness so that we can live more holy lives.  Dying to self(self dignity and self reputation) was the hardest one for me.  However, I found when you finally die to what others think of you, you are totally free to do God’s will without hesitation.  This only can be done with Holy Spirit’s help as you cannot be holy by yourself  That is why God sent Holy Spirit to help you each hour of each day!

Inspiration: One Bible teacher explained that God always wants you in His perfect will but when you walk out from his perfect, you put yourself in a position to receive temptations from the devil.  All of us can get tempted by fear, doubt and unbelief thoughts from the devil.  James 4:6-8 says resist the devil " NO" in Jesus’ name to that temptation and "GO" to the devil to leave your property in Jesus’ powerful name.  God always leaves a way to escape temptation but He tests us to see if we love sin more than His laws.  The more mature Christians see sin as destruction and hideous so they immediately hate the thought of sin and dismiss it out of their mind saying "NOT MY THOUGHT".

Inspiration: The power of God to transform lives is evident among my family and relatives.  One person I know was a worrier and would give advice before he heard the other person’s point of view.    After his conversion to Christ, he is showing signs of being able to follow this scripture (being a better listener), although it takes mental preparation to stop his mouth from speaking all it wants to speak.

Inspiration: The Lord spoke to a man to call his former boss.  This man dismissed the thought as his former boss had fired him over a year ago.  The Lord spoke again and told him to call.  The man said:  "Lord, he could be anywhere.  He owns seven houses around the world and I only have the phone number of only one of those homes."  The Lord said: "Call!"  So he used the one phone number he had and amazingly got through to the house servant who said his former boss was home and was in the bedroom.  This boss had a gun pointed to his head and was about to commit suicide. As the boss took the phone call, the boss gave his life to Jesus as they prayed together over the phone.  The boss was rescued from hell just in time.

Inspiration: I praise Jesus when I hear of Christian Companies that use the Bible for their business principles.  One large restaurant chain is closed on Sundays as the founder was a Christian.  Another firm has Bible studies during the day for all employees to attend if they desire.  The president asks for the whole company to pray when he and the board of executives are making a major decision.  All the board of executives are very generous to their employees giving them bonuses and paying for family trips at their expense.

Inspiration: As I read this scripture, I thought about each fruit with one or more seeds inside it, so that as the practicing Christian brings forth fruit, it multiplies, gets scattered and can produce elsewhere.  The fruit provides nourishment for others so the kingdom of God grows and Jesus gets known all over!

Inspiration: A man wrote a story of a beggar.  This beggar was on the side of the road, cold and hungry. "Please give," said the beggar and the Christian in passing gave to him.  When the Christian went to heaven, Jesus said to him:  "I was that beggar asking for food and you opened your heart and gave to me.  If I came as a King and asked you for something, you would have responded out of duty, but responding to a beggar shows a heart full of love."

Inspiration: The Parents of Jesus, Mary and Joseph are a good example of this scripture.  Joseph was warned three times in dreams.  The first dream was to take Mary to be his wife.  The second was to flee into Egypt as Herod was about to kill the infant Jesus, and the third was to settle in Nazareth after returning from Egypt.  People also get impressions from God when they spend hours in prayer, worshipping Jesus, listening and journaling the scriptures they get from God!

Inspiration: Holiness unto God, communion with God and separation from evil people are important to God.  Over the years, I have discovered that God releases His power through pure holy vessels (people) that will give Him all the glory.  This is only possible with Holy Spirit’s daily help as we cannot be holy by ourselves!

Inspiration: It is very important that all people, especially those in church leadership, to ask for the baptism of Holy Spirit.  I have seen church sub groups, such as the praise and worship team or choir, struggle since they do not know how to flow with Holy Spirit.   This scripture shows that God wants to reveal His power and get all the glory.  Mature worship leaders let Holy Spirit do the leading so that each service is an intimate and powerful encounter with God’s presence.  Many more miracles occur when all flow with Holy Spirit’s plan!

Inspiration: In the Old Testament in the Holy Bible, Joseph was a good example of this scripture.  He was sold by his brothers as a slave to Egypt.  He was falsely accused and ended up in jail for over two years.  However, after he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, he became second in command of all of Egypt. It was God’s plan to send him ahead and prepare for a great famine.  By God’s gift of the interpretation of dreams, the people were rescued from seven years of famine, including his family.
