Scripture: Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. (Colossians 3:12-13)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I put on the mantle of gentleness, mercy, kindness, meekness and long-suffering, the ability to be able to love the unlovable, bear the unbearable and have compassion like you Jesus.  Thank you Holy Spirit for the same compassion Jesus had to be in me for other people and for the lost to be saved!  In your name I pray.
