Inspiration: A worship leader was playing the piano, and at the end of the service, a church leader came over to him, laid his hand on his head and said "Play the music of Heaven brother."  The worship leader closed his eyes and tried to let Holy Spirit take over the music.  The congregation did not want to go home but stayed another hour listening to this heavenly music which eventually became prophetic as Jesus used this music and words to prophesy to the people.

Inspiration: A Christian businessman uses this scripture to bring him peace in the middle of a storm.  He pictures a strong tower with a mighty fortress around it.  He runs under the tower and pictures Jesus (as a giant tower) standing over him.  He feels safe and secure as arrows of fear and anxiety hit the outer fortress but do not enter inside.  He is protected by Jesus by speaking out loud the name of Jesus!

Inspiration: I was at a wedding when the groom was close to 50 years old and his bride was close to 40 even though neither of them had been married before.  The bride had bought a wedding dress years before, in faith that God would send her a husband.  During those years of waiting, her patience was tested, but she took joy and placed her faith in God’s Word.  God truly gave them the desires of their hearts as they trusted I Gods timing.

Inspiration: A teacher quoting from the Bible said "My sheep hear My voice" meaning Christians are to be led by Jesus the Great Shepherd.  I am so thankful today that so many Christians are spending enough time in prayer to hear God’s directions.  People are responding by going on missions to preach the Gospel, while others at home are listening to God as to how to share Jesus in their own city.  Business people are hearing from God how to solve crisis business problems all for God’s Glory!

Inspiration: A college boy’s mind snapped while he was streaking nude across the campus.  A church leader was led by the Lord to pray all night for him since the boy had gone into a catatonic state.  This minister bound the evil forces off him in Jesus’ name and the boy’s mind returned back to normal after 8 hours of prayer.  This minister then instructed the boy’s father to get him involved in a really on-fire church that knows about the power of the Holy Spirit so the evil would not come back on him.  People like this or others getting free from addictions have to lean daily on the grace of God and power of the Holy Spirit to help them stay clean.

Inspiration: One large and fast growing church, sends school buses out to pick up children to take them to church since their parents do not go to church.  This is a great service in teaching the younger generation about the Lord.  Another ministry encourages Christians to pass out Bible tracts to retirement areas and pray with people to help bring the elderly to Jesus before they die.  This also is a great service in teaching the older generation that it is never too late to accept Jesus into your heart.  Retired people have tremendous resources and time they can use for Jesus.

Inspiration: A six year old deaf child was healed in front of our eyes as we prayed for him.  We confirmed with his mother that he had indeed been deaf since birth and now he could hear normally.  In this, God proved to me that He is the God of the impossible.  We proved that indeed Jesus had head this boy’s ears as nothing is too hard for God!

Inspiration: The president of a Bible College asked for wisdom from God when his orange trees were hit with a freeze.  Other peoples’ oranges were destroyed due to the freezing temperatures but God showed this Bible college president wisdom on how to pray for his oranges with no unbelief.  God performed a miracle and his oranges were protected from the freeze.  This brought great glory to God.

Inspiration: A salesman struggled with alcohol.  His career was so important to him that he often had to go out with his colleagues for a drink.  This person also taught a class of children at his church and suddenly the thought hit him while he was drinking: "What if the children from my church class come into this bar and see me in this situation?"   He finally took the issue to God in prayer and this scripture helped him to see that he might be causing other Christians to stumble.  He stopped drinking.  He started going to weekly Bible studies and grew stronger in Jesus’ authority to say NO in Jesus’ name to all sin temptations.  He asks for Holy Spirit’s help to not please people but please God!

Inspiration: I was brought up to go to church weekly but the only time I praised God was during that one hour service.  Later on, after I had committed my life to Jesus, I found that my walk with God was a personal relationship seven days a week and not just one hour a week event at a church service.  My music used to be all secular but God gave me a love for praise music to adore Jesus.  In this maturing process, I now see how this psalm says to bless and praise God at all times.   I sing love songs to God now from my heart (not just songs about God from my head or getting into vain repetition without passion from my heart!)

Inspiration: A church leader taught on unforgiveness.  His teaching explained that when you did not forgive someone, you actually keep them a prisoner in your mind so you are the one who is tormented and not them.  By simply asking forgiveness, you let that person go free, out of the prison of your mind where you were holding them, and thus you are the one who is set free.  This also is a command from Jesus as Jesus said if we don’t forgive, neither will our Heavenly Father forgive us of our sins!

Inspiration: In Acts 16:22-26,  Paul and Silas show us that there is tremendous power in worshipping God.  They were beaten and put in prison with their feet placed in stocks. They could have complained but they did not.  At midnight they prayed and sang praises to God.   Suddenly there was a great earthquake and all the prison doors were opened, and the prisoners’ chains were loosened.  Through this miracle the jailer and all his household became Christians.

Inspiration: In 2 Corinthians 11:23-27, the Apostle Paul tells us he was beaten with whips(stripes) five times, he was beaten with rods three times, he was shipwrecked three times, he was stoned, he was  weary, in pain, hungry and thirsty; and in all these things, he overcame the situation with God’s help.  Thank you even today that some missionaries are paying this price laying down their lives for Jesus!

Inspiration: Growing up, my parents taught me that no one likes a bragger.  This was good natural wisdom that later helped me to do things for God’s eyes only and not to boast about my activities in public.  I have made the mistake of bragging and found out later that it caused division between me and my friends who heard me.  From now on I want 100% of the glory to go to God!

Inspiration: I always prayed before meals at home but at work I found myself sometimes embarrassed to pray in front of others since the people at my table never prayed.  Then when I saw someone else bow her head in silent prayer,  I was convicted by the Holy Spirit that I was afraid of what people might say about me.  I saw that I was not giving thanks or glory to God for my meal as this scripture was pointing out.  I repented and asked God’s help for me to bring Him more glory.

Inspiration: A rich man was selling multi-million dollar computers when God called him to go to Bible school.  This person said to God:  "Whatever you want me to do,  I will do even if it means cleaning toilets."  The first day of Bible School, the Bible College director said there were no janitors at this school as they liked the students to volunteer for 2 week turns, to do these these services in order to build humility and servanthood in them.  This man was reminded of his prayer to God and volunteered to clean the washrooms to help burn the pride out of his life.

Inspiration: In High School, a young man disobeyed his parents’ good teaching and hung around an evil crowd.   Later he was framed for a murder and went to jail with a life sentence.  One day a young boy came to the prison fence and shared Jesus with him.   Later the boy became a leader on his High School student’s counsel and organized with the Principal for this prisoner to come and speak to the whole study body of the dangers of having evil friends.  Overtime this prisoner gave his heart to Jesus  He was released from prison years later, and has dedicated his life to preach Jesus to teenagers and to warn them of the dangers of sin and not follow the wrong crowd!

Inspiration: A church leader who has attended church services in many countries discovered many people including himself, not being thankful enough to God.  The presumption, ‘I have a right to live on this planet’ seems to prevail over the attitude that each day is a gift from God.  He now wants to bless God and to be thankful for each day he is able to live on this planet.  He says he needs to ponder on God’s goodness and worship Him more.  He listens now to the birds singing each morning as a reminder to sing to God each morning and thank Jesus for a new day to advance God’s kingdom!

Inspiration: The Holy Bible tells us that in the last days, all creation will sing to Jesus with a loud voice and bless Him and worship Him.  Revelation chapters 4 and 5 gives us a picture of this, as Revelations 5:9 says that Jesus has redeemed us to God by His blood.  Jesus Christ, the only one who has never sinned, is the only one that can forgive you of your sins since His blood is perfect.

Inspiration: A businessman read the Bible for many years, but it was when he started studying it, meditating on certain sentences for a while and placing himself in the scenes in the Bible, that his faith really started to grow.  God was able to speak clearly to this person through the Bible since he was studying and listening to the Holy Spirit for understanding of the Holy Scriptures.  This businessman hears God clearly since studying the Bible helps you discern between your emotions and your intents versus God’s intents.

Inspiration: God is good and the devil is bad!  All good things are from God and all bad things or evil thoughts are originated by the devil who has rebelled against God and has been kicked out of heaven to earth!  Think of the Goodness of God and that He has pleasure to give you Good things not lustful things of the world!  God has given you His best, His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for you, to rescue you from your sins and give you everlasting life in heaven.  God wants to give you good things as you walk uprightly before Him!

Inspiration: In Acts, Chapter 2, God poured out His Spirit on 120 disciples.  Then these disciples preached to the people about the Kingdom of God and 3000 were saved in one day and 5000 on another day.   Holy Spirit also fell on the gentiles (non Jews)  in Acts, Chapter 10, and the Kingdom of God was received by many.  Open our eyes to listen to Holy Spirit to walk in Gods ways so we don’t follow after the lusts of the world!

Inspiration: In Mexico, a church leader and his ministry team have reported God raising people from the dead.  One occurrence was when a small boy fell into a hole and cracked his skull open so that some of his brains fell out.  The little boy was dead for hours.  The church leader prayed for him, and God raised him from the dead.  Reports are coming from different countries in Africa also about raising from the dead!  Thank you Lord nothing is impossible for those that believe in Jesus’ power!

Inspiration: There was a man in the Bible called King Saul, and although he was true to God at first,  later he disobeyed God.  He was jealous of David, and started planning to kill him since he didn’t want David to be King.  (Samuel 28:6)  When the Philistines later attacked Israel,  Saul prayed to the Lord for help but the Lord did not answer him.  Let us learn from this example to have a repentive heart to ask forgiveness in the name of Jesus the minute we sin.

Inspiration: In the Bible, there was a story of a rich man and a poor man. The poor man was called Lazarus and was a beggar who was laid at the rich man’s gate.  The rich man did not help Lazarus.  This scripture tells us that after the rich man died, he cried out for answers but did not receive anything from the Lord. (Luke 16:19-31)  As we do things for the least of the brethren, we are doing it unto Jesus!

Inspiration: A South African farmer and his wife heard God’s voice calling him to come to Canada to start a missionary organization.  He "leaned not on his own understanding" as he hated cold weather and loved the heat of Africa.  God directed his path to Canada to start a Missionary Outreach.   God blossomed this ministry which has touched the lives of thousands of people through this couple’s complete obedience.

Inspiration: I have been in a church service when Holy Spirit spoke directly to people through the Bible.  I now see that it is the responsibility of the listener to be keenly aware of the words being spoken, not only the words of the Holy Bible,  but also the words God will speak to them directly through prayer if they are paying attention.  One word from God can change a life!  One word from God can change a nation!

Inspiration: Even though the apostle Peter denied Jesus three times, he was chosen by God to take a leadership role in the birth of Christianity.  Jesus told Peter that Satan had desired to sift him as wheat but that He, Jesus had prayed for him. This gives us encouragement that when we keep our eyes on Jesus, obeying His plan for our lives,  He can keep us from falling and present us to God the Father in heaven for us to live in heaven for eternity!

Inspiration: A husband was in hospital following heart surgery when his wife got a call in the middle of the night to say that her husband’s condition was critical and that she needed to come immediately.  As she drove to the hospital, fear gripped her.  She remembered the scripture, Fear is not of God.  Fear is insufficient trust in God. This gave her peace of mind as she watched her husband pass through the critical stage on to recovery.  Thanks be to Jesus who has given us the victory over fear!

Inspiration: My grandparents honoured their father and mother all their lives and they lived a long time on this earth.  In my grandmother’s later years, she required much nursing care which became tedious.  My mother looked after my grandmother in those tough times and in doing so, she honoured this commandment.   What gave her strength and patience was the Bible teaching that she was doing it also unto Jesus.  When I was 23 years old I finally thanked my parents for bringing me into this world and that I would always love them for the sacrifices they made!

Inspiration: A worship leader was praying the Lord’s prayer and when he came to the part "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven", he asked God for wisdom to bring Heaven’s worship down to earth.  This Christian started to ask for songs that were sung in heaven so that they could be sung on earth.  He also asked God for new heavenly musical instruments to be invented by Christians on earth so that more glory could go to God  He also asked for worship leaders to be more sensitive to Holy Spirit’s leading for the songs in each service so that Holy Spirit’s power can move in mighty way for miracles in the service for God’s glory!

Inspiration: In Acts Chapters 27 and 28, the Apostle Paul went through a major test even though he tried to warn the leaders of the danger that lay ahead.  Paul and the rest of the 275 people on the ship had to endure a terrible storm which in those days often meant death.   The ship ended up being wrecked on an island where Paul, while helping to build a fire, was bitten by a poisonous snake.  The islanders were amazed that the snake’s bite did not harm him.  Later Paul prayed for one of the island leaders who was sick and Jesus healed that man. Through these trials the island of Malta saw the power of Christ.  Think also of how these 275 people on the ship could be converted and become on-fire Christians to change their world for Christ since God had saved their lives from ship wreck!

Inspiration: A Christian businessman uses this scripture to help in the trials of life.  He also read in the Bible that heaven is Jesus’ throne and earth is His footstool and thought about Jesus putting His feet up on the earth as a footstool.  As he pondered on the size of His feet (in this image of Jesus using the earth as His footstool), he saw how powerful Jesus is and how evil can never defeat the Christian that calls on Jesus to rescue him.  It is through prayer and meditation on the Bible Scriptures that Jesus becomes so power in your life so that you can bind the devil in Jesus’ name according to Matthew 18:18 and cast him out of a situation.  Matthew 18:18 also says to loose. So loose 12 legions of angels to come and bless you, your family and your ministry right now in Jesus’ name!

Inspiration: A Christian had water sprinkled on him as a baby but he thought he needed to be water baptized as an adult since as a baby, baptism meant nothing to him.  As he thought about being baptized in water, he became nervous of what others might think of him and was embarrassed to be baptized in front of people. He then saw that was pride in his life.   When he learned that water baptism involved going under the water to die to self and being raised from the water was to live a new life for Jesus, he asked to be water baptized.  He then understood how important dying to self was so water baptism was a reminder to die to self and live for Christ!
