Inspiration: A missionary couple went to another country to work for God.  The natives were hostile and killed the husband.  The wife continued the work for God and was able to forgive them for killing her husband.  This supernatural love and forgiveness working through this woman brought a mighty revival.  The man who killed her husband has now become a committed Christian and shares his testimony  with others.

Inspiration: I became a Christian shortly before I joined a large corporation.  I never told anyone I was a Christian at work since I was more concerned about my career than anything else.  I was scared to share Jesus with my fellow workers as I thought they would label me as a religious fanatic.  I prayed to God for the baptism of Holy Spirit and after that, God gave me boldness, not to impose my faith on others but to expose my faith. More and more opportunities arose for me to share my faith at lunch or after work with my colleagues.  I wanted also to be like Daniel in the Bible, a man of excellence, to be a witness that way also.  I also got baptized as an adult to die to my reputation and be more concerned with Jesus’ reputation and helping rescuing souls from hell!

Inspiration: A Bible teacher shared that everyone has been given a gift (or talent) from God,  whether it be cooking, hospitality, playing musical instruments, singing, having leadership capability or having a way with children.  This teacher went on to say that most people do not really know what their gift is and most of those that do, don’t pray to God for wisdom how to use it to advance God’s Kingdom.  It is time to ask Holy Spirits help to grow in the ways of God and let God get 100% of the glory for everything we do!

Inspiration: A very rich and successful man that owned many businesses humbled himself and took food to the poor and those living in the city dump as he witness children needing food digging in the trash.  He did that for 7 years and then God blessed him by giving him a world wide ministry and finances to provide meals for the poor.  He always gives God 100% of all the glory!

Inspiration: So many times in scripture the Bible says that Jesus had compassion for people before He performed miracles.  His love preceded the faith that performed the miracle.  Let the world see that we are Christians by our love and our faith!  Faith without love can bring divisions in the body of Christ which is not what Jesus wants!  Jesus wants all parts of His body to move in love and appreciate each other as all do what God has called us to do for His glory!

Inspiration: A century ago, a Christian doctor was called by God to Africa to do missionary work.  This doctor believed in God’s power to heal and protect him.  When he arrived in Africa, a plague was killing many people.  He demonstrated to the medics God’s power by putting a live sample of the plague bacteria under a microscope.  He then placed the live bacteria on his arm, cursed it in the name of Jesus, then moved it back under the microscope.  The medics found this same plague bacteria was now dead.  God used this Christian to bring about a tremendous revival of supernatural miracles and healings since he obeyed all God asked him to do and stayed very close to God in prayer.

Inspiration: A businessman sowed financial seeds for the Kingdom of God for six years before his reaping time came.  He gave at every offering, helped feed the poor, supported children in poor countries and worked tremendously hard for the Lord year after year but his bank account kept going down and down.  He was frustrated to see his bank account go to zero after all he had done for the Lord but it was at that time the Lord started doing financial miracles in his life.

Inspiration: One day a man pulled in to a gas station where my friend worked and said he needed some money as he was broke.  He told my friend he would leave his diamond ring as collateral.  My friend had a small mirror and tested the diamond ring to see if it would scratched the glass in the mirror which it did so my friend thought it was a real diamond.  He took the ring and gave the gas station’s money to the man.  When the boss heard about it my friend was fired. No only did he get conned on a fake diamond ring but he made decisions about his boss’s money that he was not authorized to do!

Inspiration: Here is the downfall of many Christians and churches. Over the decades intellectuals have replaced faith with human reasoning and these same people start doubting that the Bible was inspired by God.  Then they think there are multiple ways to go to heaven.  Then they become self-righteous and wonder why miracles don’t happen on a regular basis in their environment.  This can change if they start having a hunger to fast and pray and seek the truth with all their hearts being willing to die to their reputation, pick up the cross and follow Jesus regardless the cost!  We are to walk by faith not by sight trusting in Jesus to do miracles through us by the power of Holy Spirit so God gets all the glory.

Inspiration: We can compare this scripture to the legal system.  When criminals commit crimes they have to reap the consequences.   However Christians often don’t see this in a positive light.  One Bible teacher explained it in terms of seeds.  Sow a corn seed and you will reap corn.  Sow encouragement and you will reap encouragement.  Sow love and you will reap love.  Sow into God’s kingdom for eternal rewards so that all will hear about the love and forgiveness of Jesus to rescue them from hell!

Jesus The Christ Is LordInspiration: A Bible teacher said that a teachable spirit is one of the greatest attributes to have.  This is a blessing, not only in marriage but especially in your walk with God.  God wants us to learn our lessons the first time around and not to have them repeated.  When I heard this teaching, I felt challenged to have God show me my blind spots (problem areas I was blind to in my life).  Now I see when I have been critical of others in a certain area, often that is how to see my blind spots since I then ask, Lord do I do the same things they are doing, and the answer is often… YES!

Jesus The Christ Is LordInspiration: A farmer learned the power of his words in Jesus’ name.  He had a large useless tree in his field taking up much crop space.  One day he cursed this useless tree (just like Jesus cursed the fig tree in Mark 11:21).  Six weeks later this tree was stone dead and the farmer knew it was due to his prayer.   Decades later, this same farmer had a cancer spot on his liver.  He remembered the useless tree on his farm that died after he cursed it so he cursed the cancer on his liver at the root and prayed for the disease to be cast out of his body.  He believed the word spoken would come to pass and it did.  The doctors confirmed there was no liver cancer!  There was great rejoicing when he learned that we have authority over our own land and own bodies in Jesus’ mighty name!  Another person I met felt a large bump on her stomach.  She was a nurse and had a CT (cat) scan done only to hear the devastating news from the doctor that she had a cancer node 5 cm across or about 2 inches wide.  She stood on these scriptures and refused to get into fear but got her faith level up to believe the cancer would disappear.  A few months later when the surgeon was ready to cut out the cancer they did one more CT (cat) scan and found that Jesus had totally healed her as all the cancer was gone!

Both these 2 people have been cancer free for years now!  Glory to God forever!

Inspiration: A sound heart has to be protected as I know that what you watch and what you think about needs to be purged by Holy Spirit on a daily basis.  With the junk on the TV, the lust and perversion on the internet, lure magazines, and mobile phone crazes, we daily have to have a heart cleansing to make sure the lusts of the world or any envy does not enter our hearts.  We have to simply say, when an ungodly thought come our way, that is not my thought!  I choose not to dwell on it and I choose to worship Jesus and sing to Him and get my mind on the promises of God!  Thank you Jesus for your help each hour of every day!

Inspiration: A man learned that his niece, who was less than one year old at the time, had only a 50 per cent chance of living due to a defective valve in her heart.  As he read the Bible, this scripture seemed to jump out of the page and he knew God wanted to heal his niece.  He bought a Bible and went to share this scripture with his brother and sister-in-law and pray for the baby.   The young child was healed as God worked through the hands of the doctors.

Inspiration:   A young man that had a leg a half inch shorter than the other and wore a half inch heel pad in his shoe came for prayer.  God healed him in front of our eyes and he threw his heel pad in the garbage.  I saw him a year later and he said he never had to go back to the chiropractor again since he was healed.  Another example of this scripture was a man came to our Bible study with a cane and was in so much back pain that the doctor had given him a morphine drip to deal with the excruciating back pain!  We prayed for him and we saw no change when he left however he stood on this scripture rebuked the pain and when I saw him close to a year later he was total healed!  Even the doctors were amazing how he came off the morphine drip  This man was walking around fast now with no cane and no pain thanks to Jesus!

Inspiration: Many people have been fooled by "get-rich quick" schemes. A phony life insurance man came to my door and somehow made it into my apartment and onto my couch.  He said "Pay me 99 cents a day and if you get killed, I will pay one lump sum of $500 to your family."  Doing the math in my head, I saw at once that this was a scam and asked the man to leave  From this I see that any quick rich schemes that have been presented to me over the years have not been ones Holy Spirit want me to get involved with!  God leads by peace and confirmations if people are listening to Jesus and the promptings of Holy Spirit that shows up what scripture from the Bible applies in a situation!

Inspiration: Today’s society has many people saying the Bible is only a history book and is not actually the Word of God.  Since these people don’t really believe in the whole Bible but pick and choose the sections that are convenient for their lifestyle, they go about establishing their own righteousness.  Even some lukewarm church leaders have let their intelligence overrule their faith in the Holy Scriptures and wonder why healings and miracles don’t happen in their church.   Those that understand Holy Spirit’s power to heal, and know how to discern unbelief and doubt see miracles since they see the devil’s old trick to get people to walk by sight instead of walking by faith in God’s Word.

Inspiration: When a few of us were talking about the spiritual pruning process,  a friend in our group said he asked God to mold him like clay on a potter’s wheel to shape him into a vessel for the master’s use.  However he went on to say that when God started shaping him, it wasn’t easy as he had to crucify his lusts and bad habits.  As in Adult water baptism, we go under the water to die to the ways of the world and are raised up out of the water to live a new life for Jesus only not for our selfish lusts!  Even with Adult water baptism we have to die to our own pride and reputation and live as an ambassador for Christ!

Inspiration: One Bible teacher explained that walking by faith involves spending time everyday in the Holy scriptures letting Holy Spirit speak to you through the pages of the Bible.  It also involves mediating on scriptures over and over until you see yourself walking out the victory promise in the Bible.  Faith begins where the will of God is known so walking by faith is knowing God’s will.  God’s Will is His Word and His Word is His Will.  Most people want to see the answers to their prayers before they will believe in them.  That requires no faith at all.  The teacher explained that you have to believe in the answer before you see it, as that is what walking by faith is all about.

Inspiration: Many people expect financial or healing miracles to happen immediately and although that does happen, it does not happen to all.  This scripture points out that through life one’s faith matures.  One Bible teacher explained that you have to have patience with your faith, as patience will keep you speaking the solution before it (your prayer answer) is manifested.  Jesus anointed one man’s eyes in the book of John and said go wash in the pool of Siloam!  The man did not get an instantaneously miracle when Jesus put clay on his eyes nor did Jesus help him to the pool of Siloam!  The man had to obey Jesus and then he got his miracle!

Inspiration: One year I joined a group of Bible College students to feed the poor on Christmas Day.  It was the first time I had ever been away from my family at Christmas.  My eyes were opened to feel the pain of those who do not have a family.  All of us were blessed tremendously to see the faces of the poor light up as we served them food and ate dinner with them.  Help us to take time for the poor and teach them the gospel that Jesus want to give them a job so they can help out others!

Inspiration: One church member gave anonymously for years as giving this way, was also a lot of fun!  Later in life, he found himself handing money directly to people for missions (instead of using an offering envelope) so that the church member receiving the gift would know that it was from him.  He was later convicted by God that his motives in giving were not totally pure since he wanted some recognition for his mission givings.

Inspiration: I have met families that are so blessed as everyone in that family has committed their life to Jesus and has gotten saved.  It is an encouragement to all of us that we should never give up praying for all our family and distant relatives wherever they live in the world.  Moms are unsung heroes in the Christian child raising business!  Husbands that love and honor their wives and encourage their kids with love and praise have an easier time for them to see the goodness of God!

Inspiration: I know an extremely intelligent man who thought he could manage his life on his own.  His intelligence often blocked his ability to grasp faith.  Later on in his life, when going through a crisis, he came to God with child like faith and committed his life to Christ.  He first had to humble himself to see his need for Jesus as he had so much self pride!

Inspiration: A businessman was tested for awhile to see if he would trust in his riches or use his riches for advancing God’s Kingdom.  During prayer, this businessman felt God speak to him to buy a motel and invite evangelists to use it free of charge if they would pass out Christian tracts to the surrounding area so that all people in the vicinity would hear about Jesus.  Several years later, when he felt God prompt him that the the evangelistic work was done, he was approached by a land developer, who offered this businessman 20 times as much as he originally paid for the motel and property.   This man has been able to give millions of dollars to God’s work.

Inspiration: In the late 1980’s I heard a man prophesy about hand held computers and that God was saying His children were not listening to Him for inventions.  It never occurred to me that good inventions were from God and, at that time, I didn’t know what a hand held computer was, since personal computers the size of desk tops were big news.  Ten years later, hand held computers were called palm tops and now, today, mobile phones are getting more powerful all the time.  I now realize that God wants to give inventions to people that will use the invention and the income from it to advance His Kingdom.

Inspiration: Two men were sailing on the lake and one of the men unknowingly lost his car keys in the water.  When they got to shore they were not able to drive home since they lost their keys and they then knew the keys were at the bottom of the lake somewhere.  They decided to pray and ask the Lord to lead them to the keys.  They set sail again following God’s direction where to turn. At a certain location, they felt led to look down for the keys.  One of them dove down and found the keys way down underneath the water on a big rock!

Inspiration:   Two close friends are a blessing to marriages for sharing their wisdom.  In their journals, they write about the love and blessings of the Lord.  They don’t have much money but continue going on honeymoons even if for only a day or two and have been doing so for over 2 decades.  They renew their vows to each other and share the love that they have written down in their journals.  They are ever increasing and enhancing the love in their marriage.

Inspiration: Bible teachers tell us that Israel is the time clock of the world since all biblical scriptures of Jesus’ second coming relate to Israel.  This helped me to pay attention to the news concerning Israel and to pray for that country and its people and for peace.  Israel and their leaders need the protection of God!

Inspiration: I have been on missions in different countries, and found in some parts of the world, people expect and receive miracles from Jesus readily because they have no unbelief in their hearts as they trust in Jesus first before any other way. On the other hand, in some of the rich and well educated countries, many people have a hard time believing in miracles, and even believing all the Bible is true. I just read an account of a lady that had cancer on her face and when she had hands laid on her for prayer she believed she received at the time they prayed for her.  She kept believing and twenty days later, the cancer fell off her face.  The doctors were amazed.

Inspiration: One Bible teacher states that Christian maturing never stops as we learn to live by every word that precedes from God’s mouth.  This not only means living a life of prayer to receive God’s directions,  but also asking God to run our finances, businesses and relationships all in accordance with His principles in the Bible.  Christians needs to study the Word of God daily so they can move the Holy scripture promises from their head to their heart so they are firmly established on the Word of God and are not shaken by the storms of life.

Inspiration: Some nations were founded on Christian principles, but over the decades, leaders and luke-warm Christians have set their own standard of righteousness causing people to fall away from God.  Christians need to run for leadership positions as God directors so the nation can do righteous actions.    One Bible teacher put it this way:  "Pray for your leaders that they would have the fear of God in them and encourage Christians to run for public office.  Pray for the churches that they would become like the church in the first century preaching faith from God in the Holy Scriptures."    This teacher also said that Christians need to repent of their sins and their forefather’s sins and dedicate their nation to God.

Inspiration: A friend, who was the president of a corporation, attended church all his life.  One day, one of his employees called him a hypocrite, saying he acted in an unchristian manner. My friend was shaken up by this accusation and started searching in the Holy Bible and discovered that he had never let Jesus take control of his life.   Through his study he learned to die to his own ways and accept Jesus’ plan for his life as he asked Jesus into his heart for the first time.  As his old life died, his new life with Jesus sprung up with new joy and purpose.  My friend is now a leader for Christ in his community sharing his testimony everywhere and helping to set people’s faith on fire.

Inspiration: I heard a man speak who had been knighted twice by the Queen of England.  He did not become a Christian until later in his life.  This man was a diligent lawyer and God had chosen him to become an ambassador for a country.  This job brought him before the United Nations.  He was able to share the Lord Jesus as the Christ the Son of God with other world leaders at these meetings.

Inspiration: A church overseer who had founded many churches came to speak at our church.  When we came to talk with him after the service,  he asked us to pray for him because he said, he needed our prayers.  I was blessed by his humility asking for our prayers.  This helped me to understand that those in the front lines need our prayers so that the Word of God can be preached in all countries.  Let us remember God gives grace to the humble but resists the proud according to James chapter 4!

Inspiration: A missionary in the Philippines became very sick.  In America, a lady was awakened by the Lord in the middle of the night asking her to pray in the spirit for this missionary although she had no knowledge of why she was praying for him.  He was healed of his disease and when he came back to America to share in his America church how he was healed,  the lady that had prayed for him asked him the exact time and date of his pain.  As he shared with her, she told him that was the exact time the Lord had asked her to pray for him.

Inspiration: One of the natives shared an amazing miracle while we were on a missionary trip right after a terrible hurricane.  This native had faith that the hurricane winds would not destroy his tin-roofed house.  This hurricane was one of the worst in Central America and while other houses were being blown over in the storm, people came to his house which stayed strong and was not damaged throughout the entire hurricane.

Inspiration: A boy was taught that God is a god of love and never would hate anything.  But as this boy matured in his personal relationship with Jesus Christ his savior, he found out that there is good and evil in the world and God hates evil works. This boy discovered that it was not wrong for people to hate evil works, since hating evil deeds helps build a life of holiness.  Love all people but hate sin and all appearances of evil was his summary!

Inspiration: A student had a toothache and thought that he would have to go to a dentist since the paid was so bad.  This person prayed and asked God for wisdom and healing for the painful toothache.  In prayer, this person was shown that it was sinus pressure that was causing the toothache and by clearing (blowing) his nose, the toothache would go away.  Sure enough, about 20 minutes later, after clearing his nose, the toothache was gone.  The student was so happy he heard from Jesus!

Inspiration: A businessman prayed this scripture to understand the calling of God on his life.  God kept confirming His direction to this individual over and over so that he had perfect peace in what God’s plan of his life should be.  Later on, God called him to different mission trips and different countries.  He sought God in long prayer sessions to get the needed direction for his life.  This man has learned that these long prayer sessions are needed to quiet down the busyness of one’s mind and to let Jesus speak to him.  He wants to be a sheep that hears the Great Shepherd’s voice and obey Jesus’ instructions since God wants to speak to all people.

Inspiration: A lady I met in Bible College had been healed by Jesus from lupus (a terminal disease).   Before her healing, she and her husband had spent all their money on medical bills yet she steadily grew worse.  Then they stood on this scripture and other healing scriptures and she was healed.  She had to renew her mind to what the Bible says since she was living in fear and anxiety for 25 years.  As she kept on worshipping and praying the healing scriptures in the Bible, taking authority in Jesus’ name over lupus, her lupus disappeared.
