Testimony: One church member gave anonymously for years. Later in life, he found himself handing money directly to people for missions (instead of using an offering envelope) so that the church member receiving the gift would know that it was from him. He was later convicted by God that his motives in giving were not totally pure since he wanted some recognition for his mission givings.
