Inspiration: My prayer at my job was that I would be like Daniel in the Bible who had “God’s excellence” on him.  God blessed my work tremendously to the point where one year I was the top employee among seven different cities.  God promoted me by blessing my work and letting me produce much for the company.  Every year God blessed my work to the extend I was given free vacations in exotic resort places along with the other top performers from my firm.  The top salesmen in the entire nation gave a speech at one of these trips and he said “I give all the glory to God”.  This blessed me since all the non Christians heard it.  I started to pray more for my boss, my company, my nation and all those who are in authority over me that they would be protected and make Godly decisions!

Inspiration: A Christian salesman worked for many years in a large firm.  One day he had a meeting with his boss who wanted to evaluate his work.  This Christian received an excellent evaluation and the boss used two words to describe this employee – integrity and sincerity.  This Christian was blessed to hear this as he wanted his life to be a good example in the workplace.  He also met with others in the workplace to share Jesus at lunch and times outside of the office hours so that he could be a light for Jesus Christ with the help and boldness and grace from Holy Spirit!   He learned that all Christians are to share Jesus and not make excuses that it is someone else’s job!

Inspiration: A business man went out to the city dump to bring groceries to the children that were digging for food in the dump!  God called this businessman to start a soup kitchen with his church to feed all the poor in his city!  All the poor that come in for a free meal had to hear the gospel preached for an hour before they could get their free lunch and some groceries to take home!

Inspiration: I have seen more than one family get greedy over an inheritance.  This greed caused strife and division.  My friend was caught in the middle of an inheritance fight. He prayed and sought the Lord Jesus Christ’s help.  He worked hard to keep the family together.  Daily prayer was needed and God answered prayer!

Inspiration: A Bible teacher said this is a vital scripture to help Christians in all areas especially with finances and healing.  People need to pray constantly and have God’s thoughts and His Word running through their minds and hearts so that they can rest on the solution and not get anxious about the problem.  When you constantly quote the scripture solution for your problem and back up your belief with corresponding actions, then Holy Spirit will bring to pass the scripture solution you are praying for and acting upon.  We cannot waiver but must stand on God’s promises before we see them with our eyes as that is what faith is all about!

Inspiration: One single Mom in our church had her car stolen.  She was so upset she was in tears and prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ.  After prayer, she felt a peace within her as if God was close to her.  A few days later she got a call from the police who had found her car undamaged, and returned it to her.

Inspiration: A church leader taught me to pray over church meetings that people’s lips would be sealed from speaking out against the will of God.  This leader said that he had a trouble maker in his church, and when he prayed this way, he noticed the trouble maker remained silent in meetings.  I also started to listen to Holy Spirit to hear what God wants to say in certain meetings!

Inspiration: One Bible teacher gave this definition of grace.  He said today’s language has narrowed that definition down to mercy or unmerited favor.  However that is only part of it.  He said is God’s power and ability to do in you what you can not do by yourself.  So you are to move in God’s grace to conquer sin in your life, move in God’s grace to conquer fear and do God’s will, move in God’s grace to love the lost and get them saved in Jesus Christ’s precious work on the cross.  This is why Paul emphasized in his writings in the Holy Bible that with God’s grace (His power and ability) Christians could accomplish great things for Jesus Christ that they could not do by themselves so that God would get all the glory.

Inspiration: A couple with a tremendous Christian healing ministry, have so much of the anointing of Holy Spirit’s anointing on them because of their prayer life.  They want to know Jesus Christ, understand His prospective, His priorities, His plan for their lives and how to minister to others.  I recently heard the husband speak in a stadium of about 30,000 people.  Jesus Christ did miracles in that service and healed people. These miracles happened because these church leaders heard and obeyed the Holy Spirit’s directions.

Inspiration: I worked for a large corporation, and one of my team mates came up to me and said: “I want the peace you have in your life.”  He went on to say that the stresses of life got him down so much that he wanted to escape from it all.  I was grateful that God let my light shine with His peace in the workplace.  It was Jesus that gave me peace in my prayer times of that stressful work as when I came home, I had to unplug from all the days activities spinning around in my head and get filled with God’s peace  I also had to cast all my cares on the Lord!

Jesus The Christ Loves you unconditionally.  It is time to surrender all and commit your life totally to Jesus!Inspiration: When I read this scripture, I see that sin really hurts my relationship with Jesus Christ as well as those around me.  I used to see sin as just hurting me.  Now I see that sin is direct rebellion against God’s laws and that I need to teach myself to hate sinning asking Holy Spirit’s power and Grace every hour of every day to help me say no to temptation.  With God all things are possible.   His Grace was sent to us so that we can conquer sin in our lives in Jesus’ mighty name confessing our sins as we repent and ask forgiveness.  As we put on the armor of God, as Ephesians 6 says, and crucify the lusts of our flesh, walking in the power of Holy Spirit, we do not gratify the lusts of the flesh!  If the TV or internet causes us to sin, we simply unplug it and start going out to win souls and do the ministry God has put before us!  Worshipping Jesus Christ also is very important giving daily thanks for life itself!

Inspiration:   A Bible teacher said the important word to this scripture is believing. He said when you pray, you plant your seed like a farmer.  The farmer always expects the seed to grow and talks about the harvest as he knows the harvest will come.  This teacher said you have to pray this way believing in the harvest (the answer to your prayer) before you see it.  So many want to believe after they see the answer but that requires no faith at all.  Faith says “I believe my request is granted at the very moment  I pray, since I am asking for something that I know is a promise of God found in the Holy Bible.”  Praying according to God’s Word and acting on God’s Word are essential that our prayers are for the things God wants for us and not for us to ask for the riches and lusts of the world!

Inspiration: During my teenage years, I had one foot in with following Jesus Christ and one foot with following my unsaved friends and the people-pleasing crowd.  I was afraid to leave the people pleasers because I was too concerned about what they thought of me rather than what God thought of me. I also was too afraid of losing my job.  When I committed my life to Jesus Christ and asked for the baptism of Holy Spirit,  God gave me the boldness and courage to jump in with both feet into His camp and to trust Jesus Christ with my entire life including my finances as the Holy Bible says God will meet all my needs according to His riches in glory.  I was no longer a people pleaser but a God pleaser.  I need the daily help of Holy Spirit.  I never push the Bible down people’s throats or witness on company time.  I share what Jesus Christ has done in my life on lunch or after work and then tell them they can study it in the Holy Bible and find out the truth for themselves and kneel down by their bed side at night and commit their lives to Christ.

Inspiration: In the 1980’s, when one well known TV evangelist sinned, Christian Television got a bad rap from the public.  Christians themselves were quick to judge, criticize and point fingers at the sin instead of praying for the situation.  A Bible teacher told us that immature Christians do not realize that when you harshly judge another for their sin, you are judged in the same manner.  The mature Christians help restore those who have fallen to get them back on their feet again after they repent and back again into the calling God has on their lives.

Inspiration: I have met two Christian women who have used their God given beauty as a gift from the Lord Jesus Christ.  In their younger years,  these women competed in beauty pageants.   One went on to become a church leader’s wife and the other does Bible teaching in her church.  People that have been given good looks, from TV standards, need to see it a gift from the Lord to be able to influence the lost so that they can bring the Lord Jesus Christ great glory and get more souls saved.  These people have to deepen their prayer life with Jesus Christ all the time to stay away from the lusts, snares and fame of the world!

Inspiration: An accounts manager was carrying the burden of his career reputation for years.  This burden would often give him anxiety and fear.  When he gave all of this burden to the Lord, he felt a weight lift off his shoulders.  He also found he daily needed to cast all his cares on the Lord Jesus Christ so free him all from fears and worry!  He had to die to his selfish reputation and be more concerned with the Lord’s call on his life.  He needs grace and help from Holy Spirit every day to be a God pleaser and not a people pleaser.

Inspiration: The president of an organization did a Bible study on “Who we are in Christ.”  This president learned through his study that Christians are:  children of God,  redeemed,  saved, sanctified, justified, forgiven, loved and blessed tremendously.  The blessings include, peace,  health, provision and the ability to gain Godly wealth to health the poor, and most importantly, eternal life.   Healing, deliverance, protection, provision are all promises in the Word of God as a child of God when we believe by faith and waiver not on God’s promises during the trials.   He says we need to meditate on these scriptures to understand more of God’s spiritual blessings and stand in faith believing and speaking God’s promises during these end times.

Inspiration: A Bible teacher addressed a group of Christians by asking: “How many of you are hot and on-fire for God?”    None of the audience put their hand up.  He then asked them: “How many of you are cold?”  None of them put up their hand.  The teacher went on to read this Bible scripture of how God judges lukewarm Christians, and all were convicted of their lukewarm state and encouraged to get on-fire for Jesus Christ!

Inspiration: A man fasted for 24 hours for the first time in his life and immediately sensed he had more spiritual strength from Jesus Christ to stop letting his body lust after things.  He committed all his body, soul (which is the mind, emotions and will) to the Lord Jesus Christ, surrendering all to God, and relies on Holy Spirit’s help to teach him to stay away from the lusts of the world and set his affections on the things above!  Staying in the Word of God each day and spending lots of time in Worship and prayer gives this man a greater understanding of God’s grace which includes God’s power to say no to sin and train the mind to head the thought of sin!  Scriptures say do not be like a dog that returns to its own vomit and eats it.  This was recurring sin is like, so train yourself by God’s strength to hate sin as you cleanse your house of any object or internet/TV programs that causes you or your family to get tricked into sin!

Inspiration: Some close friends made a list of attitudes to work on before they got married. They had excellent marriage counseling and that helped them control the anger, frustration and irritations that pop up in marriage.  They made a point of never going to bed at night angry.  Their marriage is so strong now that people come to them for marriage counseling.  They have been married over 20 years and their marriage as just as close as day 1!

Inspiration: I took a course on the roots of anger.  The speaker explained that so much of anger is developed in the childhood years through various circumstances.  The course taught me that many people carry hurts for years and when these hurts flair up, they get so angry that they cannot control their anger nor their tongue.  They can get healed by Jesus Christ if they choose to forgive and forget all who have ever hurt them, in the loving name of Jesus Christ who said on the cross:  Father Forgive them for they know not what they do.

Inspiration: We would often go out two by two into the streets and neighborhoods to share Jesus Christ.  I make myself ready to share Jesus in all places as evangelism is a lifestyle not a one time event.  One afternoon I came across about 10 tough guys sitting down together.  Fear and intimidation tried to get me to walk away and be quiet and not share Jesus Christ.  However I took courage and shared my testimony before them all.  I was amazed to find they listened closely and let me pray for them.  Thanks be to Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ to give boldness and eliminate fear!  If you need boldness, ask for the Baptism of Holy Spirit.

Inspiration: A worship leader and his wife were unable to have children.  A friend of theirs felt led by the Lord to build a wooden crib for a baby, asking the Lord to fill the crib for this barren couple.  Intellectually, it seemed strange to give the gift of a crib at a time when the couple was unable to have a baby as well as being devastated by the news of yet another miscarriage.  However God honored their faith and in time, the wife became pregnant and had a baby so that this “Faith Crib” was filled with the new baby.  They then were blessed by God with another child!

Inspiration: Some people think they are not special to God because of what they have done or what someone had said about them.  When reading this scripture, I realize that what really is important is what God thinks about us.  I was able to share with Christians that they are a precious jewel in God’s hand and He delights in them.  God has no favorites as He loves all equally unconditionally as we see that we are His children and He wants to look after every issue in our life if we let Him and surrender all to Him!

Inspiration: Two close friends who are now married, wrote their prayer requests in their journals in their single years.  They would pray for their future and write down their thoughts.  When God brought them together in marriage, they learned what was in each other’s journals.  As they looked at the dates of the entries, they were blessed to see how their prayers had been answered.  It was so great they wrote down the dates to match up a prayer request in one journal was answered in the other prayer journal!  This couple has been married for decades now and truly treat each other with great respect!

Inspiration: One lady got upset when someone told her that Jesus Christ is the only access to eternal life.   She thought her good works would be enough to get her into heaven.  When challenged to accept Jesus Christ into her life, she did so, and started Bible studies in her home.  People that study the Holy Bible and seek the truth with all their heart, realize that it is only by Jesus Christ (who forgives us when we repent and turn to Him) that one can enter a holy heaven where there is no sin.

Inspiration: Many people struggle with parts of the Holy Bible because they let human reasoning take over instead of Godly faith.  These people have never understood what real prophecy is and how God speaks.  If they would seek God with all their hearts and ask God to talk to them, they would quickly discover the Holy Bible is true and that God wants to use them to pray for miracles.  John 10 says God’s people are to hear the Great Shepherd leading and follow Him.  This takes hours of prayer not a 5 minute prayer!

Inspiration:  A couple was asked by God to start a Christian TV station which was a huge step of faith.  They needed all the donations to arrive by the end of the month or else the deal would be cancelled.  During the last week hardly any money came in.   On the last day of the month they were around $35,000 short.  That same afternoon, a man came in with a check for the same amount they were short.  This man said he was on his way to buy a boat but the Lord told him to donate the money instead.  They rushed to the bank together and deposited the check just as the bank was closing.  This started their first Christian TV station and many more have been started since then. This was decades ago and this man and his family have brought great glory to God for his obedience!

Inspiration: A woman of great faith said you have to constantly examine your heart.  She called it a ‘Heart Check Up’ to make sure you are on the right path and doing God’s will.  This checkup was to look for things such as envy, jealousy, pride, selfishness, and wrong motives and to have God search your heart and try you.  I have found that constant prayer and Bible reading is the only way to keep on the right path that God has for us.  There are so many lusts of the world that try to pull us into sin.  However listening and obeying God will keep our faith strong and keep us from sins that cause damage not only to us but all those that know us.  I need to listen more to Holy Spirit who is trying to help us every hour of every day!

Inspiration: I found out what spiritual warfare was in the Holy Bible when I became a new Christian.  I was leading one meeting in a small church room when a church leader joined us.  As I spoke about each event, everyone seemed confused and asked me to repeat things several times.  I looked at the church leader as if to say: ‘Why am I always repeating myself?’ and the reply was, ‘There is confusion in this room and you did not pray over it,  did you?’  This church leader showed me I needed to bind the enemy in prayer.  I also forgot to start off that meeting in prayer.  I was a baby Christian at that time and did not know I was supposed to bind the devil every day off all my family and activities and loose the angels to bless everyone based on Matthew 18:18 and James 4:6-8.  Years later at Bible College I was confirmed the need for me to pray this prayer and the Lord’s prayer every day to protect my family and neighborhood by prayer in covering them under the blood of Jesus Christ and praying Psalm 91.

Inspiration: A church leader talked much about the Holiness of God and to revere God with holy fear.  I had never been taught on the holiness of God but only the love of God, so at first I thought he was out of balance with too much talk of holiness.  Later, I discovered that I was the one who was wrong and I needed to worship the Lord with much more reverence.  This also produced a need for holiness in my life.  When I started to pursue the holiness of God I seemed to fail every time!  It was then I learned that we need Holy Spirit’s help each hour of every day to say “NOT MY THOUGHT. I DISMISS THAT  IN JESUS CHIRST’s NAME NOW” to every unholy and ungodly thought the devil tempts us with!

Inspiration: An elderly lady in our church always tithed even though she had hardly any money.  She obeyed this scripture and was praying for a better car.  Recently she told me that someone had sent her the money to buy a brand new car!  This lady is 86 years old now and is one of the biggest prayer warriors and intercessors I have ever met!

Inspiration: On a mission trip, we used a 30 year old open fishing boat to preach the gospel (that had 2 outboard engines that looked even older than the boat).  In one place, when our boat was tied up at the dock, someone removed the drain plug in our boat without replacing it properly, which caused the boat eventually to sink under ten feet of water.  We did not find out about this until later.  Being far away from phones and any cars or roads, there was no other solution but to pray that God would do a miracle.  It took over three hours to pull the boat to the surface.  We laid hands on the waterlogged engines and they started, GLORY TO GOD.  Any mechanic would say God did a miracle since the carburetor was cleaned out of water and filled with air again to make the spark to start the engines!  We praised God all the way home.

Inspiration: Many people tell me they don’t get anything out of going to their church.  When they hear of sin in church leadership, it confirms in their mind that they made a good choice to stop going.  Their busy lives left only one hour for God per week in church and now they have found an excuse not to go, nor try another church.  Many of these people have not committed their lives to Jesus Christ.  Becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ is not on the top of their priority list.  However if they would remember the first commandment to love God with all their hearts they would want to attend church to serve and worship God, to hear His Word and to grow in faith.   They also need to attend a church that is growing spiritually so they learn about healing and learn to pray for the sick by the power of Holy Spirit in Jesus’ powerful name!

Inspiration:  Over the centuries, some church leaders have taken a “vow of poverty” to help correct impending greed.  Greediness is not from God, however poverty is not from God either.  One church leader spoke at a business meeting and said:  “Do you possess money or does money possess you?”  This scripture points out that God does want us to prosper and be healthy as we let God control our money.  However the essential part of the scripture is ..”as thy soul prospers..”  God can bless as with health and prosperity to the degree we have the Word of God prospering in our souls and making our minds pure.  We need to clearly see their is God’s Holy unselfish version of prosperity and the world’s greedy lustful version of prosperity!

Inspiration: A salesman heard that the borrower is the servant to the lender, and started to do a Holy Bible study on finances to see if it is God’s will to be in debt.  He also studied the effect of debt on marriage and found it produced a lot of stress, since men and women view debt in different ways.  This man has chosen to live with no debt as he wants to be a servant to the Lord and not be entangled in the ways of the world.  This has given him the freedom to give generously to the Lord as the prompting of Holy Spirit!

Inspiration: A young woman growing up with an alcoholic father lived in great fear of her father’s behavior.  She told herself she would never marry a man that drinks.  So she married a man that did not drink alcohol however still feared her that her husband would become an alcoholic one day and be like her father. Over the years, this constant fear formed a distorted view of her husband causing her to nag at him.  She kept nagging him so much that he eventually had some alcohol to escape the stress from her fears.  Her continual nagging eventually drove him to became an alcoholic.   What she feared eventually came true since she let fear rule in her life instead of faith and trust in Jesus Christ!

Inspiration: A president of an organization communicates his vision to people so that those who believe in it will help bring it into existence.  Most successful businesses have a 5, 10 and 20 year vision.  This is a example of natural faith since the business is trusting to meet certain goals at certain points in time.   Supernatural faith is God speaking words “Let there be light” and light was created.  A Bible teacher explained that the words you speak and believe in, will shape the world you live in.  As you learn God’s vision for your life you will speak words in life into your family and ministry to accomplish God’s vision.  With Holy Spirit’s help you can pray with leaders and help ministries develop their visions as they listen to Jesus Christ and have everything they do backed up by the Holy Scriptures in the Holy Bible.

Inspiration: A young boy, raised by a single mother with a tiny income, asked God, during a church service, for a financial miracle since it was his birthday.  At the end of the service, the church leadership decided to give the boy some money not knowing it was his birthday nor knowing the prayer he made.  The boy knew it was a miracle since he did not tell anyone what he asked for.

Inspiration: A missionary couple went to another country to work for God.  The natives were hostile and killed the husband.  The wife continued the work for God and was able to forgive them for killing her husband.  This supernatural love and forgiveness working through this woman brought a mighty revival.  The man who killed her husband has now become a committed Christian and shares his testimony  with others.

Inspiration: I became a Christian shortly before I joined a large corporation.  I never told anyone I was a Christian at work since I was more concerned about my career than anything else.  I was scared to share Jesus Christ with my fellow workers as I thought they would label me as a religious fanatic.  I prayed to God for the baptism of Holy Spirit and after that, God gave me boldness, not to impose my faith on others but to expose my faith in love and not asking anything from them. More and more opportunities arose for me to share my faith at lunch or after work with my colleagues.  I wanted also to be like Daniel in the Holy Bible, a man of excellence, to be a witness that way also.  I was sprinkled with water as baby but at that young age, I was not aware to of the need to dedicated myself to Jesus Christ.  So I got baptized as an adult to die to my reputation and be more concerned with Jesus Christ’s reputation and helping rescuing souls from hell!

Inspiration: A century ago, a Christian doctor was called by God to Africa to do missionary work.  This doctor believed in God’s power to heal and protect him.  When he arrived in Africa, a plague was killing many people.  He demonstrated to the medics God’s power by putting a live sample of the plague bacteria under a microscope.  He then placed the live bacteria on his arm, cursed it in the name of Jesus, then moved it back under the microscope.  The medics found this same plague bacteria was now dead.  God used this Christian to bring about a tremendous revival of supernatural miracles and healings since he obeyed all God and stayed very close to God in prayer.

Inspiration: A church leader and his wife pray over their taxes and ask God to bless them and to bless the country with their tax money.  This was new to me as I had heard most people grumble and complain about taxes.  I have watched this couple for close to four decades and because of their diligent attitude with finances, God has richly blessed them and their children.  They also render to God what is God’s!

He gave at every offering, helped feed the poor, supported children in poor countries and worked tremendously hard for the Lord year after year but his bank account kept going down and down. He was frustrated to see his bank account go to zero after all he had done for the Lord but it was at that time the Lord started doing financial miracles in his life. He now sees Jesus Christ as His total provider for him and his household put total trust in Jesus Christ with faith in the Holy Bible promises from God rather than some man’s promise in his employer firm, or some man’s promise in his country, or some man’s promise in his government.

Inspiration: In the past in some countries in South America, the drug lords have justified the wicked and condemned the just.  One church leader, trying to get all the churches to work together in unity, was martyred.  Corruption was rampant in the government and police force in this country.  The good news is that Christians all over the world are praying for these countries are some huge revivals are taking place all glory to God!

Inspiration: One day a man pulled in to a gas station where my friend worked and said he needed some money as he was broke.  He told my friend he would leave his diamond ring as collateral.  My friend had a small mirror and tested the diamond ring to see if it would scratched the glass in the mirror which it did so my friend thought it was a real diamond.  He took the ring and gave the gas station’s money to the man.  When the boss heard about it my friend was fired. No only did he get conned on a fake diamond ring but he made decisions about his boss’s money that he was not authorized to do!

Inspiration: Here is the downfall of many Christians and churches. Over the decades intellectuals have replaced faith with human reasoning and these same people start doubting that the Holy Bible was inspired by God.  Then they think there are multiple ways to go to heaven.  Then they become self-righteous and wonder why miracles don’t happen on a regular basis in their environment.  This can change if they start having a hunger to fast and pray and seek the truth with all their hearts being willing to die to their reputation, pick up the cross and follow Jesus Christ their personal Savior regardless the cost!  We are to walk by faith not by sight trusting in Jesus Christ to do miracles through us by the power of Holy Spirit so God gets all the glory.
