Inspiration: The president of a Bible College asked for wisdom from God when his orange trees were hit with a freeze.  Other peoples’ oranges were destroyed due to the freezing temperatures but God showed this Bible college president wisdom on how to pray for his oranges with no unbelief.  God performed a miracle and his oranges were protected from the freeze.  This brought great glory to God.

Inspiration: A salesman struggled with alcohol.  His career was so important to him that he often had to go out with his colleagues for a drink.  This person also taught a class of children at his church and suddenly the thought hit him while he was drinking: “What if the children from my church class come into this bar and see me in this situation?”   He finally took the issue to God in prayer and this scripture helped him to see that he might be causing other Christians to stumble.  He stopped drinking.  He started going to weekly Bible studies and grew stronger in Jesus’ authority to say NO in Jesus Christ’s name to all sin temptations.  He asks for Holy Spirit’s help to not please people but please God!

Inspiration: I was brought up to go to church weekly but the only time I praised God was during that one hour service.  Later on, after I had committed my life to Jesus Christ, I found that my walk with God was a personal relationship seven days a week and not just one hour a week event at a church service.  My music used to be all secular but God gave me a love for praise music to adore Jesus Christ.  In this maturing process, I now see how this psalm says to bless and praise God at all times.   I sing love songs to God now from my heart (not just songs about God from my head or getting into vain repetition without passion from my heart!)

Inspiration: A grandfather shared with us all the goodness and mercy the Lord has shown him all his life.  He has walked through many trials and sorrows but his heart has remained steadfast, looking toward Jesus Christ and worshipping in the house of the Lord.  It is so thrilling that God Is GOOD!  Jesus Christ is not the author of bad things.  Evil thoughts or sickness and disease is from the devil who is bad!

Inspiration: A church leader taught on unforgiveness.  His teaching explained that when you did not forgive someone, you actually keep them a prisoner in your mind so you are the one who is tormented and not them.  By simply asking forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, you let that person go free, out of the prison of your mind where you were holding them, and thus you are the one who is set free.  This also is a command from Jesus Christ as Jesus said if we don’t forgive, neither will our Heavenly Father forgive us of our sins!

Inspiration: A lady was wanting healing from Jesus Christ and daily she would ask, seek and knock.  She was very persistent in her asking, seeking and knocking.  Some people criticized her for pestering God too much.  However she humbled herself daily and sought a miracle.  She received her miracle about six months later.  She never gave up until she received her healing!

Inspiration: In Acts 16:22-26,  Paul and Silas show us that there is tremendous power in worshipping God.  They were beaten and put in prison with their feet placed in stocks. They could have complained but they did not.  At midnight they prayed and sang praises to God.   Suddenly there was a great earthquake and all the prison doors were opened, and the prisoners’ chains were loosened.  Through this miracle the jailer and all his household became Christians.  There is hope for all your family as you worship God and ask Jesus Christ to   open up their spiritually blind eyes.

Inspiration: Growing up, my parents taught me that no one likes a bragger.  This was good natural wisdom that later helped me to do things for God’s eyes only and not to boast about my activities in public.  I have made the mistake of bragging and found out later that it caused division between me and others who heard me.  From now on I want 100% of the glory to go to God!  Jesus Christ has done so much for us we need to brag about Him all the time and tell the world the great things He has done.  Jesus loves us so much and has given us access to heaven through His shed blood when we ask forgiveness of our sins and surrender our lives to God 100%!

Inspiration: I always prayed before meals at home but at work I found myself sometimes embarrassed to pray in front of others since the people at my table never prayed.  Then when I saw someone else bow her head in silent prayer,  I was convicted by the Holy Spirit that I was afraid of what people might say about me.  I saw that I was not giving thanks or glory to God for my meal as this scripture was pointing out.  I repented and asked God’s help for me to bring Him more glory.

Inspiration: A rich man was selling multi-million dollar computers when God called him to go to Bible school.  This person said to God:  “Whatever you want me to do,  I will do even if it means cleaning toilets.”  The first day of Bible School, the Bible College director said there were no janitors at this school as they liked the students to volunteer for 2 week turns, to do these these services in order to build humility and servanthood in them.  This man was reminded of his prayer to God and volunteered to clean the washrooms to help burn the pride out of his life.

Inspiration: In High School, a young man disobeyed his parents’ good teaching and hung around an evil crowd.   Later he was framed for a murder and went to jail with a life sentence.  One day a young boy came to the prison fence and shared Jesus Christ with him.   Later the boy became a leader on his High School student’s counsel and organized with the Principal for this prisoner to come and speak to the whole study body of the dangers of having evil friends.  Overtime this prisoner gave his heart to Jesus Christ.   He was released from prison years later, and has dedicated his life to preach Jesus Christ to teenagers and to warn them of the dangers of sin and to not follow the wrong crowd!

Inspiration: A church leader who has attended church services in many countries discovered many people including himself, not being thankful enough to God.  The presumption, ‘I have a right to live on this planet’ seems to prevail over the attitude that each day is a gift from God.  He now wants to bless God and to be thankful for each day he is able to live on this planet.  He says he needs to ponder on God’s goodness and worship Him more.  He listens now to the birds singing each morning as a reminder to sing to God each morning and thank Jesus Christ for a new day to advance God’s kingdom!

Inspiration: A businessman read the Bible for many years, but it was when he started studying it, meditating on certain sentences for a while and placing himself in the scenes in the Holy Bible, that his faith really started to grow.  God was able to speak clearly to this person through the Bible since he was studying and listening to the Holy Spirit for understanding of the Holy Scriptures.  This businessman hears God clearly since studying the Holy Bible helps you discern between your own emotions and your own intents versus God’s intents.

Inspiration: In Mexico, a church leader and his ministry team have reported God raising people from the dead.  One occurrence was when a small boy fell into a hole and cracked his skull open so that some of his brains fell out.  The little boy was dead for hours.  The church leader prayed for him, and God raised him from the dead.  Reports are coming from different countries in Africa also about raising from the dead!  Thank you Lord that nothing is impossible for those that believe in Jesus Christ’s power!

Inspiration: There was a man in the Holy Bible called King Saul, and although he was true to God at first,  later he disobeyed God.  He was jealous of David, and started planning to kill him since he didn’t want David to be King.  (Samuel 28:6)  When the Philistines later attacked Israel,  Saul prayed to the Lord for help but the Lord did not answer him.  Let us learn from this example to have a repentive heart to ask forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ the minute we sin.

Inspiration: In the Bible, there was a story of a rich man and a poor man. The poor man was called Lazarus and was a beggar who was laid at the rich man’s gate.  The rich man did not help Lazarus.  This scripture tells us that after the rich man died, he cried out for answers but did not receive anything from the Lord. (Luke 16:19-31)  As we do things for the least of the brethren, we are doing it unto Jesus!

Inspiration: Even though the apostle Peter denied Jesus three times, he was chosen by God to take a leadership role in the birth of Christianity.  Jesus Christ told Peter that Satan had desired to sift him as wheat but that He, Jesus had prayed for him. This gives us encouragement that when we keep our eyes on Jesus Christ, obeying His plan for our lives,  He can keep us from falling and present us to God the Father in heaven for us to live in heaven for eternity!

Inspiration: Two great men in the Bible, Moses and the apostle Paul, were involved in murder before they stepped into full obedience to God.  These two men went on to bring great glory to God and to write many books in the Old and New Testament.  These two men help us remember that when we confess our sins, God forgives us.  Jesus Christ allowed His blood to be shed for the cleansing of all sins so get cleaned up everyday and ask for Holy Spirit’s help to rule over sin as you daily crucify the lusts of the flesh.

Inspiration: A man who did not have more than an eighth grade education became a multi-millionaire with the help of God.  The Lord blessed this man to start a Bible College and an unwed mother’s home for pregnant teenagers in America and a Bible College in India.  He also helped feed the poor daily with a soup kitchen and because of his diligence in the Lord’s work and no love for money, God has made him rich.

Inspiration: A husband was in hospital following heart surgery when his wife got a call in the middle of the night to say that her husband’s condition was critical and that she needed to come immediately.  As she drove to the hospital, fear gripped her.  She remembered the scripture, Fear is not of God.  Fear is insufficient trust in God. This gave her peace of mind as she watched her husband pass through the critical stage on to recovery.  Thanks be to Jesus who has given us the victory over fear!

Inspiration: My grandparents honored their father and mother all their lives and they lived a long time on this earth.  In my grandmother’s later years, she required much nursing care which became tedious.  My mother looked after my grandmother in those tough times and in doing so, she honored this commandment.   What gave her strength and patience was the Holy Bible teaching that she was doing it also unto Jesus Christ.  When I was 23 years old I finally thanked my parents for bringing me into this world and that I would always love them for the sacrifices they made!  (I should have thanked them years earlier but pride got it the way and talked me out of doing it.)

Inspiration: A worship leader was praying the Lord’s prayer and when he came to the part “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”, he asked Jesus Christ for wisdom to bring Heaven’s worship down to earth.  This Christian started to ask for songs that were sung in heaven so that they could be sung on earth.  He also asked God for new heavenly musical instruments to be invented by Christians on earth so that more glory could go to God.  He also asked for worship leaders to be more sensitive to Holy Spirit’s leading for the songs in each service so that Holy Spirit’s power can move in mighty way for miracles in the service for God’s glory!

Inspiration: In Acts Chapters 27 and 28 in the Holy Bible, the Apostle Paul went through a major test even though he tried to warn the leaders of the danger that lay ahead.  Paul and the rest of the 275 people on the ship had to endure a terrible storm which in those days often meant death.   The ship ended up being wrecked on the island of Malta where Paul, while helping to build a fire, was bitten by a poisonous snake.  The islanders were amazed that the snake’s bite did not harm him.  Later Paul prayed for one of the island leaders who was sick and Jesus Christ healed that man. Through these trials the island of Malta saw the power of Christ.  Think also of how these 275 people on the ship could be converted and become on-fire Christians to change their world for Christ since God had saved their lives from ship wreck!

Inspiration: A Christian businessman trusts Holy Bible Scriptures to help in the trials of life.  He also read in the Holy Bible that heaven is Jesus’ throne and earth is His footstool and thought about Jesus Christ putting His feet up on the earth as a footstool.  As he pondered on the size of His feet (in this image of Jesus Christ using the earth as His footstool), he saw how powerful Jesus Christ is and how evil can never defeat the Christian that calls on Jesus to rescue him.  It is through prayer and meditation on the Bible Scriptures that Jesus becomes so powerful in your life so that you can bind the devil in Jesus’ name according to Matthew 18:18 and cast him out of a situation.  Matthew 18:18 also says to loose. Inspiration: A Christian had water sprinkled on him as a baby but he thought he needed to be water baptized as an adult since as a baby, baptism meant nothing to him.  As he thought about being baptized in water, he became nervous of what others might think of him and was embarrassed to be baptized in front of people. He then saw that was pride in his life.   When he learned that water baptism involved going under the water to die to self and being raised from the water was to live a new life for Jesus Christ, he asked to be water baptized.  He then understood how important dying to self was so water baptism was a reminder to die to self and live for Christ every day!

Inspiration: A church leader taught on prayer being the most important part of a Christians life and to ask God for His Holy Spirit’s anointing during prayer time.  He said try to pray an hour a day and use the Lord’s prayer as your main prayer.  When praying the Lords prayer, he said do not rush through it but take each sentence and apply it to as many situations as the Holy Spirit shows you.  For example, the sentence:   Thy Kingdom come      can be prayed,   Thy Kingdom come on our government, Thy Kingdom Come on all governments,  Thy will be done in my family’s life, Thy Will be done in our church as it is in heaven.  This prayer is so powerful when you take time to analyze it and pray it in the powerful name of Jesus Christ!

Inspiration: A single man who had just become a Christian was set up on a blind date by one of his non-Christian friends.  He invited this blind date over for dinner and after dinner discovered this woman liked to sleep around.  Jesus showed the single man of how he would feel the morning after, if he had sex with her.    She made gestures of wanting sex; however, this Christian would have no part of it and ended the evening abruptly.  He discovered he could not date non-Christian women since they would only pull him away from Jesus Christ.

Inspiration: God has blessed a Christian real estate man so much that his tithe(10%) alone is in the multi-millions of dollars.  This man used his money to help build new churches.  He listened to God what to do with his tithe since it was way over his church’s yearly budget!  He has been able to bless so many others and hopefully other rich businessmen will send their abundance to help get the gospel of Jesus Christ to each person on the planet in a loving peaceful way!

Inspiration: A woman from another religion was raped by a man with known HIV Aids virus.  This devastated woman went to the doctor to have her blood tested and received the terrible news that the man who raped her had given her the HIV Aids virus.  This woman came to our Christian Bible study and asked for prayer.  She became a Christian and Jesus Christ healed her.  She went back to the doctors for more blood tests to prove that her blood was now pure free of the HIV disease.  The doctors confirmed the miracle as she was now given clearance to work her job again.  I saw her a year after her healing and she was as strong and healthy as ever.

Inspiration: An evangelist and his team were called by God to witness in a rough area of town.  This team felt God’s presence on them as they had spent a long time in prayer before they went out.  As they walked down the streets sharing with the people coming out of bars, they came across a man who pulled a gun on them.  The evangelist said “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” and God knocked the gun out of this man’s hand.  The team then told the man about Jesus Christ.  God protected all the team!

Inspiration: A Christian lady told us she would never forgive the man who raped her a few years back.  She was currently living with a man not married as she did not trust men.  We explained to her that Jesus Christ wanted her to forgive that man.  Even though she could not forgive him on her own, we told her that Jesus would give her His strength to be able to forgive him. Many months later I saw this same lady and she was overjoyed to tell me that she did forgive the man that raped her and that God was blessing her life ever since.  She said when she forgave him, she cried all that day all the hurt from that rape disappeared out of her life!  Later we found out this lady said she was trying to get pregnant for a long while and could not.  She said she is marrying the man she was sleeping with to make it right with God and later found out she was pregnant.

Inspiration: At the end of a church service, my friend went forward to the altar to ask for prayer.  On the way home he felt this inner joy bubbling up from the inside of him and he started to praise God with a new heavenly language.  He received God’s baptism of Holy Spirit.  His prayers are so powerful when he prays in Holy Spirits language. He has experienced this Gift from God found in the Holy Bible in the book of Acts as well as 1 Corinthians Chapter 12 which is needed for effective ministry and glory to God.

Inspiration: I met a young girl who was healed of cerebral palsy.  Her mother told me that some Christians prayed for her daughter and Jesus Christ healed her of that disease.  I watched this child jump up and down playing with the other children outside.  She leaping at least 1 or 2 inches off the ground so no skeptics could say this was not a miracle.  This miracle broadcasted on the radio brought great glory to God!

Inspiration: A Bible teacher spoke on the armor of God.  He said putting on the helmet of salvation helps you remember the joy of your salvation when Jesus Christ saved you, the breastplate of righteousness helps protect your heart, the shield of faith is to block all the lies and fears of the devil, the belt of truth is for your purity, feet shod with the gospel of peace is for the good news of Jesus to be taken everywhere and the sword of the spirit is your offensive weapon to speak the Word of God and resist the devil in Jesus’ mighty name when tempted by the devil.

Inspiration: There was a time when I was sick and could not attend church.  My parents had a church service at home for me and we had communion.  This communion was special since it was not rushed.   We took time to think of the price Jesus paid for us while we took the bread.  Then we meditated on the cup thanking God that it is only by Jesus’ sinless blood that our sins can be forgiven.  It was an intimate reverent time as we thought on all Jesus Christ had done for us.  I rededicated my life to Jesus Christ.

Inspiration: We were sharing Jesus Christ in the poor areas of town when we came across a lady who had polio for the last 42 years as she contracted the disease when she was a baby.  Polio had struck her arm which made it very skinny and her hand was like a claw which could not pick up anything. She asked for the Baptism of Holy Spirit.  After she received that she had great faith to receive a miracle for her skinny arm.   We prayed for her and Jesus healed her polio before our eyes.  She went a picked up something with her hand the first time in 42 years!   We visited her again and she showed us the miracle again as she was holding a potato in her healed hand, something she had never done before in her life.

Inspiration: A man in his twenties dedicated his life to the Lord and wanted all God had in store for him.  He asked for the baptism of Holy Spirit and for all nine gifts of Holy Spirit (see 1 Corinthians Chapter 12)  to operate through him as God willed.  Over the years, these gifts of Holy Spirit have come on this man to advance God’s Kingdom.  This man gives all the glory to God since it is Holy Spirit at work and not his own abilities.  This man also wants to constantly grow in God’s love, faith and grace so Jesus Christ can use him for more healing miracles!

Inspiration: A Christian farmer who tithed to the Lord, lived between two farmers who did not tithe.  All these farmers had the same crop.  One year a swarm of locusts came and ate the crops on the first farmer’s field, flew over the Christian’s field in the middle and continued eating the farmer’s crops on the other side.  The farmers were amazed at how the field in the middle had not been touched by the locusts.  The Christian said God protected him because he tithed to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Inspiration: A Muslim was sick and dying in hospital.  He cried out to Allah and Mohammed for a long time to heal him but got no answer.  Then he cried out to Jesus Christ and he was miraculously healed.  Through this miracle, this man committed his life to Jesus Christ.  He and his wife now travel all around the world praying for the sick and teaching people that Jesus Christ is the only access to heaven.

Inspiration: A woman was abandoned by her husband, leaving her to raise two children by herself.  For over ten years she had no husband but learned to trust the Lord.  Her great desire was to find a husband that would never leave her, and she wrote this prayer request in her diary.  A Christian man who was a widower for many years started journalizing his prayer requests.  Later on, God linked up these two people in marriage and they compared their journals to prove this scripture verse is true.  Consulting with Jesus Christ in choosing the right life partner is essential!

Inspiration: I have observed politicians cutting down their opponents and I became so discouraged at this behavior that I stopped paying attention to politics in general.  This was wrong on my part.  I now realize that if Christians are not encouraged to run for political offices, then non-Christians will run the country.  I need to pray for all leaders to work as a team to build God’s ways into government policy.  I need to pray for their protection and all the police that help protect people!

Inspiration: The scripture for today has been read at many weddings I have attended.  It is so powerful to see God’s definition of love.  I have seen this scripture transform lives and marriages as people apply the truths in it.  The truth-seeker knows true love is the source of real joy and God is the author of that love showing His love for us sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us!  God did not want to create robots that were forced to love Him but he created mankind with a choice to love him or reject him, which makes our love to God genuine and not lip service!

Inspiration: A woman in the Holy Bible was caught in the act of adultery.  Although others were ready to condemn her, and stone her.  Jesus Christ did not as Jesus was the only one there without sin.  All those that wanted to stone her knew they also were sinners and left.   He forgave her. He told her to go and sin no more.  He forgives and forgets our sins when we come to Him and truly repent.  Have you asked forgiveness for all your sins and committed your life to Jesus Christ 100 percent?

Inspiration: A man was involved in a worldwide crime organization for decades.  He grew up never knowing the love of a father.  In his 40s he felt empty inside and was thinking of committing suicide.  He was asked to attend church and there the church leader looked into his eyes and said he saw a boy who had never been loved.  This criminal met with the church leader later and the power of God fell on him and received Jesus Christ into his heart.  He felt God tell him that he would be protected.   After he got out of prison, he went to prisons and traveled around the world preaching about Jesus.  His bad past was cleansed in Jesus’ blood.
