Jesus The Christ Is Savior

Scripture: As they served the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Separate Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.” Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. (Acts 13:2-3)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, This scripture shows that your children can minister to you. Teach me the proper way to fast and pray so I know Holy Spirit’s direction and obey it.  Help me to fast for 1/2 a day, then work up to a full day with total prayer and praise during this fast time listening also to you.  In Jesus’ precious name I pray.
